He may NOT have it on him while he is hunting unless he has a PTC. According to the Hunting Regs.

Re: Gun Raffle suggestions

Damn it, I knew I was going to miss something this month. I spaced the fact that the 9th was the meeting day. In my head I thought it was the 16th. I will have to make it the next few months.

Re: Burnsville Practical Pistol Winter League - 2013

Is this something that an inexperienced shooter could participate in? I bought my first handgun this past fall, I have shot numerous rounds through it but would like to do something that would increase my knowledge, skills, and confidence. I am planning on taking a defensive handgun course, but thos...

I am figuring out that I need to carry some kind of range bag, since every time I go I seem to have forgotten something different. What type of bag should I look for? (duffle style vs. backpack) What do you guys carry in a r...

Coming out of the shadows

I guess it is about time that i post here and stop being a lurker. I have been lurking around and gaining knowledge from this site for some time now. I live in Cologne and just got the approval from The Tower to buy my first handgun. I took my PTC class, applied for my permit, and have waited the 30...

Re: Looking for a place to shoot by Hinckley.

There is a range east of the casino a few miles on the north side of the road, before you get to the river. But you need to by a membership for $15 (good for a year) at Bargin Buys which is in "downtown" Hinckley. You can Pistol/Rifle shoot there, but no shotguns. If you want to shoot clay...

Re: Hinckley Conservation Club

Your Welcome.

The other club in the area is north of 48 on Hwy 21, its called the Sandstone Sportsmans Club. They have a very nice rifle/pistol range, and some sporting clays. I have shot there with a friend once but I dont know how much memberships there cost.

Re: Hinckley Conservation Club

In the fall it gets pretty busy, especially right before deer season. It is pretty much impossible to shoot there during rifle sight in season. The thing about this range is it's very much like a backyard range, most of the time it is just you there, but it gets to be in pretty rough shape. Occasion...

Re: Hinckley Conservation Club

When I bought my pass last year I think it was around $15-25. I can't remember for sure. You get them at Bargain Buys in downtown Hinckley. They are good for a year.
