Re: List of Local Shooting Clubs

The Pine River Sportsman's Club is a very nice facility about 5 minutes north of downtown Pine River. Enclosed 300 yard rifle range (with enclosed and covered shooting stations), a 50 yard handgun range and trap shooting facilities. Hours are pretty open - pretty much daylight. You get a gate combin...

Re: FFL Transfer near Plymouth - Arnzen Arms?

I've done several tranfers with Chris Williamson at inner Chamber Guns. Always a smooth transition. I would highly recommend him.

Purchasing in Other States

OK, maybe this is a stupid question. Let's say I'm browsing a store in, say, Florida and find a gun that I want to buy. I have a Minnesota Permit to purchase, and a MN DL. Can that FFL sell me the weapon or does he have to ship it to a MN FFL?

Re: Nagant 1895

They are fun range toys, and a nice piece of history. Relying on one for personal defense..... You might want to give that a second thought. As cool as they are, and a fun as they are, they are less than convenient. It takes a long time to load them considering it is a gate loader, and even longer ...

Re: New Revolver.

Not to worry, Tim - I never had a problem with mine - there is an internal barrel extension that takes care of the problem.

Re: New Revolver.

I had one about 20 years ago, then - like an idiot - I sold it. It was a boat anchor of a weapon, but it was very well balanced. It's a .357 on a .44 frame, hence the gap between the cylinder and the front frame. I believe that the name for it is Highway Patrolman...S&W was catering to state age...

Nagant 1895

I see that Bill's in Robbinsdale has Nagant 1895 revolvers for sale pretty cheap - about $139.00. I thought that they might make a nice antique piece as well as an unexpensive cabin defense weapon. Does anyone have any experience or opinion about these?
