Re: How many are actually buying suppressors?

I did a simple, online trust and they said typically you wouldn't list a child as a successor or beneficiary on your trust anyway, unless the child is of legal age and legally able to own/possess an NFA item. If you do not have any children, you can list whoever you want to be the beneficiary. Ask a...

Re: How many are actually buying suppressors?

Well, well, well, this is good news. I bought my suppressor through silencershopdirect and they said they'd be sending it to Atomic once the form 3 is approved. I've never actually been to Atomic before, so this is good news that they allow conjugal visits - sounds like I may have to make a trip dow...

Re: Do and don't of getting a used safe

Mannys just moved a 800 pounder for me this week. The moving company that helped us move most of the stuff in our house got it out of our old house, but when we got to our new house they saw there wasn't a walkout basement and refused to even try moving it down the steps. My wife called Mannys and t...

Uffdaphil wrote:I recognize that visiting room. Same place I discovered my Rev 9 came with different threaded piston than my factory Glock barrel. Correct one on the way.

Are we not allowed to say where that is? I'm wondering if the place holding my suppressor while I'm waiting on my form 4 has a visiting room...

Re: Ruger New Precision Rifle

Very interesting. If I didn't have a handful of nfa tax stamps and suppressors to buy this would be high on the list

Re: Gun Grease opinions

+1 on Tetra Gun grease. I use it on pistol slides and ARs. I'm sure oil is fine, but after a few hundred rounds the surfaces look "dry" so I switched to using grease most of the time. A tube of that tetra stuff lasts a long time.

Re: Nuts and Bolts of suppressors- Q&A

Thank you to GOCRA and everyone that helped get this passed! My wife hates you because this is going to be expensive:-) I didn't have much interest in 300BO until now so there's another upper I need to build... Is there a list of class 3 dealers in mn somewhere? I'm working on a trust now (probably ...

Re: 6.5 Grendel AR

I've got a 20" heavy barrel Grendel upper I got from Precision Firearms. Absolutely love it. With factory ammo (Hornady Amax "Match") it shoots around 1 moa. With handloads, it does much better (see attached - that's a 5 shot group) That's 30g Winchester 748, 123g Sierra Matchking, lo...

Re: Post em up! Let's see those reloading benches

The house I'll be moving into next month has a detached 3 season porch. it's completely detached from the house, has electric in it, but doesn't have AC or heat. I'm planning on making it my reloading room/workshop since my wife has "no interest in ever being out there". I figure I can th...

Re: School shootings from the 1700's to present day in the US

I thought good liberals were supposed to be concerned with protecting the rights of others - especially the rights of minorities? Those evil rich people are a minority you know.... they have a right to the money they have earned. People DO have a right to have equal opportunity to make as much mone...

Re: School shootings from the 1700's to present day in the US

So the differences in school funding come from the local levies passed to fund the districts. The community in Edina passes a levy to give additional funds to their local school district, the people in North Minneapolis want a cut of it because their local community doesn't chose to fund their schoo...

Re: Eotech XPS2

I personally have EOTechs because I like the smaller 1moa center dot when precision matters, but still have the large 65 moa outter dot to pick up the recticle fast. You sure have to love the battery life and ruggedness of Aimpoint though. Both brands definitely have good qualities and the best answ...
