Re: EAA Witness Elite Match 45

I have a Witness Elite Match in 45 ACP and in 38 super, both guns have well Over 10,000 rounds down range, nary a prob.
I have Hennings FO target sights on both guns, extremely accurate along side of my CZ's.
Just excellent guns.

Re: RELOADING TRAINING 2014-2015

Hornady will send you stainless steel spacers for under the bushings if they work loose when working the press.
Just give them a call.

Re: Element to put in an indoor range.

Element Arms, checked them out today, I live close to the new store. Talked to one of the guys at the counter, it seems the range is a ways off from what he said, not in the near future. As far as the store, if you are a black gun guy it's fine other then that, thumbs down--the hand gun display has ...

My Mark III Hunter looks exactly the same--have about 5,000 rounds thru it.

Re: proposed powder change?

Yup, it's an explosive now, so only one ship is allowed in port at any given time, it's no wonder we can't get powder :(

Re: Coated Cast Bullets??

I cast the bullets using a Lee mold, then size using a Lee sizer, no lube. I have a small Harbor frieght drum tumbler, put in about 50 bullets and 1/2 teaspoon powder. Tumble for about 3-5 minutes, stand them up on a cookie sheet, put them in my toaster oven, bake for about 15- 20 minutes--repete th...

Re: Coated Cast Bullets??

Sky, I haven't had a chance to do a test yet, the coat really turned out nice considering just a dry coat, ( actually two coats) and baked.

I am using Powder by the Pound, blue and green. A fun project--i want to get rid of the lube mess in my guns:)
