Re: mossberg mvp

Back from the fun store. Gonna give this sexy girl a bath. After the wife sees the bill, bolt is the only action I'm going to get until after deer season. Vlad, you wouldn't mind sharing that load data, would you? I would second that request, since this is the gun my brother is going to teach me to...

Re: Go-to Twin Cities milsurp dealer?

Used to be that the Sportsmans Guide was the place to go. Now I don't know. The Pawn Shop in Richfield? I think its Metro Pawn and Gun Might have some.
That is one place I would start, is touring local Pawn Stores and seeing if the have any. Otherwise Gun Shows.

Re: mossberg mvp

When are they planning on releasing a .308/7.62 version? I had not heard of this. I like my 5.56/.223 I have the 24' Bbl, but to my knowledge that is the only caliber it is available in. Mine shoots better than I do and likes 52 to 55gr bullets the best. It really does not like 62gr Steel core at al...

Re: Tannerite "accident" kills man

to quote the article from Rochester " "Something was added, some metal, and that created the problem," the sheriff said." Clearly against Manufacturers Recommendations, and clearly too close to the target plus some alcohol and Wow a "Tragedy" happens? It is no tragedy i...

Ammo observations

I was in St. Cloud this morning and had some time to just window shop. At Scheels they have ammo a plenty but you are very limited in how much you can purchase. Fleet Farm was a crap shoot depending on caliber and type, the shelves were still pretty barren. Of course due to my limited funds I am onl...

Re: best semi auto shotgun for the price

I would recommend a Mossberg 500 or a Remington 870 before I would recommend a Semi-Auto. There are good reasons for that but the first is price point. The second is Parts and Accessories availability and the associated Cost, this can be daunting at best when you start talking Auto Loaders. The last...

Re: Rifle or tattoo?

I was certain I had responded here.
If forced to choose I would get the rifle. Sadly I no longer have the choice because I take blood thinners so now my only choice would be the Rifle.
If I could I would get both.

Re: This is the problem with america!

So next time you want to bitch about the "Welfare State" read the Book of Matthew Chapter 25 Verses 31-46 I always get a kick out of people who want to pick and choose what they take from the bible. The point is you can’t just read and follow the parts of the Bible you like and interpret ...

Re: This is the problem with america!

I can assure you I see no where near 31k per year. 203.00 per month cash allowance does not equal 31,000 as a matter of fact even with food support I would get less than 4500 all year long. There aint no trucks of money backing up to my door. More important is the fact that there are per capita far ...

{Sarcasm}Sure I spend all of my $203.00 dollars per month on the Tribe in Mille Lacs,{Sarcasm} If you think getting by on welfare is easy street you are sadly mistaken. And if you want to call me a freeloader because I have medical problems and can't work go right ahead. More over while you bitch ab...

Re: Rebel without a clue, and an alcohol problem!

Alcoholism is a horrific thing, sounds like this kid could have been the same kind of idiot I was before I sobered up 25 years ago. The only difference being I never got convicted for all of my stupidity. While I understand he was a "Scumbag" he seems to have been my kind of "Scumbag&...

Re: Star Tribune article on thugs and guns

"The long and shadowy circulation of handguns like the Hi-Point often confounds police and can elude gun control laws." They edited "illegally obtained" out of the sentence, the sentence should read , The long and shadowy circulation of illegally obtained handguns like the Hi-Poi...
