Re: Petition We the People

Except for the little fact that in MN a petition mean less than squat. It is simply used to collect data. We not an initiative/referendum state. Well that's one way of looking at it. Another is that it is something we can do that may have an impact. So either we act, or we can sit around and whine ...

Exaggerated prices, exaggerated panic.

I saw an NFA (plastic) stripped lower that a guy wanted $300 for. Wait....an NFA plastic lower? Did i read that right? Who the $&@$ would tax stamp a plastic lower? That's laughable! But in all seriousness, I agree with the OP. I put my carbine shooting on hold for the time being. I refuse to p...

Re: Dakota County Sheriff promotes "assault weapons" ban

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I sent Bellows an email explaining my disagreement with his views. He is up for re-election in 2014 and I will be looking for a new Sherrif.

Re: First AR

Point of Aim/point of impact are the same at 50 meters and 200 meters with a 5O/200 meter zero. At 100 meters with a 50/200 zero the round will strike about 1.5 inches high and at 10 meters the round will strike about 1.5 inches low. This is my preferred zero. I zero initially at 50 meters then move...

To be fair, this wasn't said at all. They don't necessarily suck, they just put out more lemons and cut more corners on things that won't make much a difference except under hard use.

Re: Having feeding issues with my new BM C-15

As near as I can tell from years of hanging around armorers, trainers, and people who shoot these things for a living, the relative lack of quality found in the consumer-grade rifles like Bushmaster, RRA, DPMS etc has pretty much passed into the realm of common knowledge. I know of know of no rando...

Re: Having feeding issues with my new BM C-15

What type of buffer is it running? What type if ammo is it having issues with? Is it a semi auto or full auto BCG? It sounds like it is short stroking. The BCG isn't consistently going back far enough to strip a round. Personally, I wouldn't bet my life on a Bushmaster, but if you feel the need to ...
