Re: Fringe benefits of permit to carry?

Carry a long gun in public (see MN <a href="tel:624.7181">624.7181</a>). Transport a loaded handgun in your vehicle (edited for correctness) b Can anyone explain this a little bit clearer for me. How I read it is, that "Carry" does not include long guns. Thanks CCIC ...

Fringe benefits of permit to carry?

Besides giving you the option to carry a pistol, what else does a permit to carry allow you to do that you would otherwise not be able to do (legally)?

For example: You can buy an "assualt" style weapon with a ptc.

Re: DIY Kel tec pf9 steel guide rod

I took it to the range yesterday with the stock plastic rod... Very disapointed. I was able to get through the first 2 magazines no problem. After the 2nd mag i was getting FTE ever other round. I tore it down, cleaned it, and still failed to eject. I kept on with it for another 75 rounds hoping it ...

old guy wrote:I put the northwoods aluminum trigger in one of my pf9s and in my p11, it helps the pf9 a little but it really does a lot for the p11.

John

I should look into that, I hate the trigger on this thing.

Re: DIY Kel tec pf9 steel guide rod

I used a dremel on the barrel. So i want to thank you guys for pooping all over my party. Ha. I looked into the issues you pointed out and decided to put the plastic rod back in for now. Feels like i'm being overly cautious for a $200 gun, but it's going to be my carry gun for a little while (until ...

DIY Kel tec pf9 steel guide rod

So I bought a kel tec pf9 today and I think it's a pretty neat gun for the money. While tearing it down for it's first cleaning I was surprised to find that they used really flimsy plastic for the guide rod. http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/h433/RCadverts/IMG_20120825_171615.jpg A...

Re: Who provides the least expensive carry permit classes?

He was even nice enough to demonstrate how to perform a headshot on a crowded dance floor. (for when a guy grabs your wifes tits...) Live fire exercise? The live fire excersize lasted exactly 37 seconds. He told me to load 5 rounds and shoot center mass . Target was a rifle target placed at 7 feet....

Re: Who provides the least expensive carry permit classes?

Paul and Tom, thank you. I will take you both up on that. The price of that disappointing class had nothing to do with the quality. It would be the same class at $250. The quality of a class is not price, it is the instructor. My classes are usually on the low price end of the spectrum. And, even wi...

Re: Who provides the least expensive carry permit classes?

Alright. I wanted to give an update... Actually I've been avoiding it because I know what's coming. So let me save you all some time and say it for you. "You told me so". Lol I took a cheap carry class recently and it was THE BIGGEST F'ING JOKE EVER. The class was 4 hours long, much of whi...

Who is responsible for this site?

I ask because there are some programming bugs. I am a php developer and i am willing to fix for free. Most annoying bug: searching posts using the search box creates this error - [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions_content.php on line 242: preg_replace() expects parameter 4 to be l...
