Returning back to MN general ban on handguns in public could be a good thing. Would McDonald overrule?

Re: SF 458 Passed committee...

Where is the bill that repeals the MMPA? After all, that is the evil document that allows people to carry guns. We can just let Federal law govern firearm possession.

Re: ND, SD, WI gun bill status?

Partly agree. What is ND excuse. AZ, UT, TX don't fit that mold. It seems more like a creeping fungus that overtakes entire states one at a time. CA, NV, NM, have dramatically changed in the past thirty years from strong western values, to some kind of ninny state. I note that Sioux Falls has half t...

Re: ND, SD, WI gun bill status?

Of the three states mentioned, SD by far has the least gun restrictions, carrying a gun in public is legal, no permit required. You can even carry loaded long guns in a moving vehicle. They are so pro2A, they just passed law allowing teachers to carry. ND and WI are not so friendly. I like MN, but t...

Re: Re: Gun Confiscation and the Assault Weapons Ban neither are

it is an extraordinarily difficult debate, because of course, resisting arrest is illegal. We do not have much guidance that I am aware of, other than one's own conscience (and of course the founding father's admonitions on the subject), of what a large population should do when confronted by a sys...

Re: Re: The core of the problem of everything

I think there's 2 types of climate change...... 1) the natural kind where the Earth ebbs and flows between ice age periods and not; and 2) the climate change caused by humans. We've been around for a very short time compared to the Earth and Universe. In all our time here, as short as that is, it's...

Re: The core of the problem of everything

Back in the seventies, they used to run a commercial with an indian on a horse, then a car drives by and throws out some fast food trash followed by a tear running down his face. I bought into that propaganda for many years. Then one day I put it all together and realized that everything we have cam...

Re: SF 205

Wow. If they make it all that complicated, they will eventually catch everyone making some small error. I'm thinking of trading guns with my buddy, but can't understand the rules now..... What is or isn't an assault rifle, one resident/non-resident, which needs permit to buy..... I don't even know i...

Re: O'Reilly On Letterman

I hear him every day since Newtown. He routinely throws out opinions like federalize gun crimes, or make it a felony to cross state lines with a gun. As I do that every day, don't know why he thinks I should go to prison.

He is clearly a New Yorker, not a Texan, therefore has no clue about guns.
