Gunsmith, you are talking about jurors who grew up in a culture where guns are scary and not legal in public, until recently anyway.

Re: Re: 2 teens killed after allegedly breaking into home;

How does one gain the right to kill someone? "Has the right to use deadly force"???? Sound better? Words matter. I see they are going to make a big deal about his choice of derogatory cuss terms. "He used the 'B' word, let's make it a hate crime". I know from personal experience...

Re: What's wrong with the star trib? I can't believe it!

The truly sad part about the rampant dishonesty of this rag is that it will serve as a historical record for hundreds of years to come. Is there no HONOR and INTEGRITY?

Re: Re: Process For Buying A Shotgun From FFL in MN

And assuming you are a Minnesota resident Gonna let myself get a bonk on the head here, but I thought "standard" kinds of long arms could be sold to residents of other states and that restriction was only for handguns and ubiquitously evil assault weapons... Please correct my understandin...

Re: NICS related Question

Seems to me they could just require a PTP or PTC for all transfers, universal background covered. But I think they are looking for something more intrusive.

Didn't Stanek go to Washington to meet with Obama to discuss the need for more gun control, shortly followed by Obama coming to MN to sell the plan?

Undercover stings come to mind, like with underage alcohol purchases.

Voting in an election is an entitlement.

You're making an apples to oranges comparison.

Voting is a verb.
A right is a noun.

Re: What happens if. . .

Texas conceal law takes the printing and the shirt thing into account. One needs more than just knowledge of a gun presence to charge misuse.

Open carry in TX is a threat, apparently, so I see room for subjective interpretation.

Re: Beretta Nano

Bought a Nano in Dec. Shot it once. Jammed on third round. Cuts deep groove on edge of brass. It is very heavy duty for a tiny 9mm. It is built on a 40 platform, and the operation may require the power of 40sw to function properly. The recent models come with an extended magazine, a place for pinky ...
