Stock refinishing

I loaned a Citori over and under to one of brothers and he seems to have dropped the forearm or something. The forearm now has a small dent and what looks like a place that he ran it across a grinder or something, as bare wood is showing through and there is no finish left on a small spot. Of course...

Re: adjustible weight barrel

I have not seen an adjustable weight set up like that for a semi-auto; however I do have various weights for my High Standard Supermatic Citation. Brownells sells replacements. The barrel is tapped to allow these to be attached by screws. http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/barrel-parts/barrel-ha...

Re: My first real/wheel gun. (S&W 586)

I spotted a 6" used 686 at the Frontiersman in St. Louis Park on Saturday for less than $620. It looked in good shape. I already have my allotment of revolvers, but thought I would pass on the info.

Re: Local Ammo Finds

Dick's Sporting Goods has 115 grain, Remington UMC 9mm MC "on sale" for $12.98 for 50 rounds. 3 box max. As of 1:00 today, Richfield still had 50-60 boxes. All the handgun ammo is behind the counter in the gun department, so you have to ask for your allotment!

Re: My first real/wheel gun. (S&W 586)

As of Oct. 2, ThunderJohn had a new 686 4" in stock for $699.99 + tax for cash, if anyone is interested.

I have no affiliation with ThunderJohn, nor will receive any monetary gain if one buys this or not!

Re: I'm in the market for a gun safe, but...

Andrew, If you can tolerate a taller safe, Superior's Encore series (or Champion's Medalist) have a 24" wide, 21" deep, 60" tall model with a 5/16" solid plate door. It only has 12 gauge sides, back and top, but if you anchor the safe well, in a closet or some other place where t...
