Sizing on projectiles?

I see some of the pistol projectiles are sized .001 to .002 larger than others in the same caliber. IE : .45 comes in .451 and .452 the 44 cal comes in .429 and .430,
Why is this and does it matter which size you use I any given recipe?

Re: I need some Dillon 650 help.

Well I just sold a 650 with a set up like that , the powder drop is $75 new, tool head is $25 new, die set is around $50 for steel Dillon or $125 for carbide Dillon. Those are new pricing though and I could be off a little on those prices. If you decide to sell them let me know what ones you selling...

Re: deprime or not to deprime?

Lots of good advice, I bought the US cleaner because it was really cheap and new in the box at the time. I seen Jerry Mycklic (sp?) usig the small cement mixer and it works good but he also tumbles his brass after as well. He said it was so the ammo was shiny for the cameras when on set. :) I want t...

deprime or not to deprime?

Well I decided to set up my lee turret press and load some .44 mag, but I need to prep the cases first. So using a Hornady magnum ultra sonic cleaner , then a tumble to polish them.
My question is should I deprime before the cleaner and tumbler or after the tumbler?

Thanks

case lube?

Looking for advice on case lubes, maybe even some home made if it works good. Also as I understand it if I use carbide dies I don't need case lube, at least on straight cases?
Do I need to use case lube on bottle neck cases even if I am using carbide?
