Re: YouTube Firearms Coalition

Understandable. :D I think one of the goals is to leverage more attention to how these specific states are behind compared to the rest of the country. Then with a open dialogue figure out the best way to change them. Obviously most politicians won't move unless they feel they have support. Show the...

So you are saying you disagree with Larry Vickers? It is totally cool to say that you prefer and shoot 1911s bet...

Re: So you wanna be an action pistol champion

Wow, some great advice guys. I especially like Payne's list. I have a feeling that those items get very overlooked. I bet over 80% of my time right now has to do with insufficiencies in these items. These are the things that a good coach who can teach can help with. Which reminds me that I need a r...

Re: All you junior gunsmiths, lay it on me!

Buy a couple manuals read them cover to cover. Then buy ammo from Remington Winchester and Federal....1 box of each and see if it is still having the problem...then report back.

Re: Expensive 1911's

I have a few 1911's including a Wilson. My Rock Island after putting new springs, sights and a few other creature comforts on it shoots as well. And even with all the changes to the Rock Island it still was under $600. The mil-spec springer I have is my favorite though few minor changes and it just ...

Re: What .45 ammo for IDPA / USPSA ?

Reload your own, it's the cheapest. Or have someone else reload it for you, it's the next best thing! http://www.pbrammo.com/pbrs-customer-brass-program wow their customer supplied brass thing is a pretty good deal. I just looked up the 40S&W. Basically they make $50 bucks to reload your brass ...

Re: 250x 1 & 1/8 oz 12 gauge slugs for $80 + ship

Funny I bought a Colt HBAR from them about 20yrs ago when I had relatives in OK. Glad to see they are still around. Wonder if their son still works there. He was fantastic to deal with especially for a guy who had no idea what he was doing(it was my first AR.) Back then they had a small retail count...
