Getting dies shouldn't be a problem. .224 down to .17 is a pretty big step, so an intermediate die is reccomended, but not necissary. You would more than likely need to neck turn the brass after sizing down, or you will end up with uneven and/or overly thick necks. All in all, reloading is probably...

The latest that I heard from the group over on the Saubier.com forum is that new brass and ammo were supposed to be available towards the end of February but that has now been pushed out to middle of summer or late fall. I do have some Win unfired 22 Hornet brass and could probably part with enough to keep you shooting for a while. I don't know how difficult it is to resize to 17 or if the dies are even available.
