Re: Wax Slugs

Indoor range. Exactly. I spent many a night in the neighbor's basement shooting wax from a .38 at a cardboard box against the wall with a bullseye target on it. Not a lot of noise either. Sure was fun for this 12 year old way back when. My dad was a small game hunter, but the neighbor was a reloadin...

Re: no more gunstop until john is back

John has quite the business model going. He has already failed but, like a dinosaur, his brain hasn't figured out that the body (his business) is already dying. It is hilarious that some of you defend his behaviour. Apologists is an accurate description! When you piss on people, refer to them as noo...

Re: New Ammo buying policy at Walmart

I was in a Wal Mart last night. 16 feet of shelf space 6 feet tall, completely full of ammunition, not behind lock and glass. All rifle and shotgun to include .223, .308. Locked case behind counter, .22 speed packs, 9mm .40 .45 large variety to include Hornady. Looks like the panic is over at least ...

Bad day on a beautiful river down in the Ozarks. Floated it many times....... STEELVILLE, Mo. — It was just supposed to be a pit stop. A group of family and friends on an annual float trip stopped at a gravel bar in the Meramec River on Saturday afternoon to refresh drinks and answer the call of nat...

Re: Obama, 35yr ago TM "could have been me"

To me, this is one of the few times the President spoke at length that he said drove me crazy. I didn't hear an agenda today, and I listened to what he said. He asked us to try and understand that Blacks in America see the shooting and the trial through a different experience than do non-Blacks. I g...

Re: Your Opinions: Lessons learned from Zimmerman Trial

Or, when stupid people (Martin) do stupid things (circling Z's car, going home, safe, return to assault Z), bad things happen. And when bad things happen, you win stupid prizes (a 9mm bullet to the heart).

Re: NOT GUILTY!

It is going to be pretty tough for the DOJ to file charges on Zimmerman.....remember, the FBI conducted an investigation early on and decided that there was no racial motivation in the shooting. Kinda hard to get around the FBI and file civil rights violation charges, I would think. I also keep read...

Re: NOT GUILTY!

Told ya. Justice prevails over racism. He should have never been charged -- but for racism against a "German" named Martin Zimmerman. Bad call Al Sharpton. Bad call Jesse Jackson. Bad call, Mr. President.

Re: CCW shootout in Milwaukee

Well what's the problem? As we see on TV and in the movies, this happens all of the time. Idiots. Throw them both in prison.

Re: High Pressure and Primers

Second rule of borrowing a chronograph...... you shoot it, you bought it.
Third rule of borrowing a chronograph......you will probably shoot it.

May as well buy your own and shoot it so you'll learn on your own stuff. And yes, it is very easy to shoot a chrony, especially with a Garand.
