Re: Selling Gun Question

I always ask to see a MN ID and a matching Permit to Purchase or Carry. I also do a simple bill of sale with a copy for both parties. Covers your bases to prevent selling to a prohibited person, a minor, a non-MN resident, and in the event the person misuses the purchase and/or it shows up at a cri...

I plan on asking to see a permit to purchase or carry, but do people generally write a contract or something as proof they sold the gun to another individual or is that not normal? Sorry for th...

Re: Shooting Issue

One issue I find in several of my students is finger placement on the trigger. Do you "bury" your finger or do you use just the "pad" of your finger? If you use the pad of your finger (where the nerve endings are) you will feel the trigger stack and you will have a straight pull...

Re: Shooting Issue

Wow, great to see so many people helping out the new guy! I don't have much to add except to confirm that the shooting test for the permit is pretty easy (just got my permit in the mail yesterday, in fact). I honestly thought it should be harder when the instructor told us what it was going to be, ...

Thanks, I will be practicing dry fire, I think it was my finger pull being wrong. I have a cheap rail mounted laser I'm goin...
