Re: Anyone have experience with the DB9?

I've got a cm9 that works fine for 400 bucks. Don't need a thousand dollar gun to collect pocket lint. The size difference between a DB9 and a CM9 is considerable. http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQqqYHMTXAd7b0Aav-t48-k-bfF5GKMt3ydyV4_H4hSXdWrVGhtGhk8xpPR I think that more t...

Re: Anyone have experience with the DB9?

Perhaps my post was overlooked ... I have a db9 and love it ... For what it is, it serves its purpose well. Shoot a few boxes through it and toss it in a pocket. Done deal.

Re: Anyone have experience with the DB9?

I have one ... It shoots great. Consider that this gun fundamentally isn't designed to have thousands of rounds put down it, it's designed to ride in a pocket holster and (hopefully) never be fired, aside from a few boxes of jhp to figure out what feeds. Don't shoot anything over 124 gr. as the bull...

Re: getting a .45

One of my main carry guns is a Taurus Millenium Pro PT-145. Almost 2k down the tube with zero malfunctions and digests everything I feed it. Inexpensive so I don't mind the holster wear that is synonymous with a carry piece. 10+1 capacity and accepts 24/7 mags so that'll bump you up to 12+1 ... In a...

New guy on the boards

Hello all ... Just found the site and figured I'd join up. My name is Nick. Besides shooting and tinkering around on various project guns, I pretty much spend my free time chasing flathead and channel cats on the MN River, and lake sturgeon on the Croix. Looking forward to learning a bit here, and h...

Re: Taraus TCP as a bug/edc

I own an LCP and have also sent some lead downrange from a glock 27 and absolutely agree with nsnutter. The glock is fairly easy to put rounds through and have some fun with and is still controllable for being a smaller sized gun. TOTALLY different experience than shooting a mouse gun like an LCP o...

Re: Taraus TCP as a bug/edc

I have been looking at the LCP...this is an interesting option. Could comeone compare the shooting feel to a glock 27? I like mine, but I hate to run hundreds of rounds through it...it's not that fun. I like the idea of compact, but to me a larger frame makes a much larger caliber more managable. A...

Re: Taraus TCP as a bug/edc

I carry a PT-145 every day ... Say what you want about Taurus, but I've put mine through the ringer and its never failed me, not one time. I have heard good things about the TCP, never shot one however. When I got my DB9 as a backup I almost got a Taurus PT709 slim instead ... That may be another op...
