The gunsmith in Anoka does work on 1911s. Not sure if he does all the type of work you are looking to get done. I have had him do alot of work on my gun.
I had him install a bead on a shotgun, which was very inexpensive. Did a fine job, although it's obviously not a complex task. He seemed like a nice guy...
