Re: Thumlers Tumbler

Good for you BD. I'll look forward to seeing your new toy after you get it, probably when I get back from my road trip, that is, if I just happen to be dropping off any components that you may have ordered :P. It will be nice to have the case interiors nice and clean too. Are you going to keep your ...

Re: Come On Now! Percussion Caps $60/1000?

Aw, come on!! You're a coal burner, which means you like to hang around all afternoon and shoot the s**t with other coal burners, and shoot off maybe 10 cylinders full of ammo, which is 60 rounds, so bumping the cap price up by $30 really means it's costing you another $1.80 to shoot all afternoon....

Come On Now! Percussion Caps $60/1000?

What the heck is going on! I did not realize that the panic pricing appears to have affected the cost of percussion caps too. I have not see any recent increase in black powder/bp substitute or bullets, just the caps but ml bullets and powder have seemed to be higher in cost, when compared to metall...

J-B Paste

Can anyone tell me if and where J-B-Non-Embedding-Bore-Cleaning-Compound, more commonly know as JB paste, is available retail anywhere in the Metro? I know it is available on line. I am looking for the 1/4oz jar size (blue label). Not to be confused with J-B Bore Bright (red label). Thanks.

Re: 10mm vs .38 Super +P

Simple answer is I like both... but I like 10mm's higher terminal performance and muzzle energy over .38 Super +P but to get better performance out of either caliber, you will have to roll you own ammo. Choice of new guns in either caliber is somewhat limited. .38 Super (+P) is making a little bit o...

Re: Want VS Hoarding?

I couldn't hoard even if i had the money to, with the market condition the way that it is. I found my first box of pdx1 today, afraid to even test them since i don't have any other SD rounds for the 9. What else are you going to do with them if you dont fire them in your firearm to confirm function...
