Re: Gander Mtn and ammo

I personally like Gander Mtn. they will price match anything that is in stock at a competitors and not on sale and plus when you can't find a gun you want they can always have it shipped from another store who has one. Someone mentioned that they try to push a protection plan? Well seeing as I have ...

Re: Small pistol primers found... Better hurry!

I have about 2,000 Winchester small pistol primers and 2,000 Federal small pistol primers. I would be willing to trade some off for some .224 projectiles.

Re: heads up 223 brass will be hard to find

I was able to obtain a mixed headstamp mix of .223/5.56 casings off of gunbroker for about $130 shipped from a range in CA. It's all in good condition, just having to punch out the primers and swage all the brass is somewhat of a time vampire. But it's better than having to buy overpriced factory am...

Re: Has anyone seen .223 or 5.56 for sale?

Gander in Blaine has been pretty good about getting .223 in on Thursdays. It's usually a mixed bag on the brands but they usually have the .223AR in 20rd and 100rd valu pack. Try giving them a call around noon to see if any is in stock. Otherwise just show up before about 5PM and you should be able ...

Re: Where ti find large pistol primers??

I'm good on 9mm right now. I am out of projectiles for 9mm but I do have a substantial amount of already loaded 9mm ammo. I'm only really having a hard time getting my hands on projectiles for the .223 caliber. Most places have been gouging the prices for them if you can even find them in stock. How...

Re: Best Day In aong Time

I hear ya there. I was pretty happy when my first batch of reloads went off without a hitch and actually turned out to be a very good load. It's pretty much the same feeling for me every time I start reloading a new caliber and get out to the range to try out my new test loads. And the 30 Carbine is...

Re: Where ti find large pistol primers??

I have some large pistol primers I would be willing to part with for small rifle primers or .224 projectiles. They are regular large pistol primers not the magnums.

Re: Small pistol

I don't know if they still have any now but if anyone is looking for small pistol primers I am willing to trade some of mine for small rifle primers. They are not magnums, regular small pistol just picked them up a few weeks ago. Would also be willing to trade some for .224 projectiles. Just looking...

Re: Federal Ammo Backlog & Shortages

45acp should not be hard to find. I work at a well known sporting goods store and can say that the only ammo we have a hard time with is 22lr, 9mm, and .223/5.56. Everything else is in stock and has been for quite some time. I believe we even had a large cart of 45acp by Winchester in the 100rd valu...

Re: Where is all the ammo going?

Anyone looking for 22lr, 5.56, 9mm, or 223 shoot me a message I know where there will be allot today and this store does have a limit. Ammo is at retail price so no inflation prices and they do have bulk boxes of cci 22lr and 100rd boxes of federal AR.

Re: Where is all the ammo going?

I figured I would pop in and give my $0.02 on the matter. Being someone who sells firearms at one of these major retail stores I feel like I may be able to provide some slight insight on the topic. Basically if your trying to purchase .22LR, 9mm, 5.56 or 223 good luck, your best bet is to get some i...

Re: Primers

That's no good I just recently purchased about 1,000 tula small pistol primers. Well I guess I will just have to try them out and see what kind of results I get. :x

Re: Who sells once fired brass in the cities

To find Bob I simply posted an ad on Craigslist saying I was looking to buy 45acp once fired brass and he contacted me a day later. I paid $50 for 500. He said he had sold me the last of it and that he would let me know when he got more which would be when the weather warmed up. Post an ad on craigs...

Re: Who sells once fired brass in the cities

I think I just got the last of Bob's 45acp today. Ahlmans in Morristown has a nice selection of once fired brass somewhat spendy though and quite a drive from the cities.

Re: Primers

I just today picked up 3 boxes of 1,000 federal small pistol primers. They had one box of 1,000 left. It was at the Gregerson's Ace Hardware in Baldwin, WI. They have a small selection of firearms and reloading supplies there and have most primers in stock. Hope this helps at least one person get so...
