Re: April Steel Shoot -- Cancelled

Seems like most of the outdoor ranges are suffering the same issues. I just received an email that part of the GRRC are closed due to the road conditions.

Let's hope for warmer and dry weather for a couple of weeks to get this straightened out.

I hope to see you all at the May Shoot

Re: RPR now in 300WM & 338LM

The big Barrett with the floating barrel isn't accurate according to Oldman . Midway's got Norma brass half-off now too. Btw He's right. While they cost about 3 to 4 times (M-107 & M-82) what an AR-50 or a State Arms costs, they can't compete in accuracy. Their M-99 can be made accurate, ...

Re: .308 and .50 cal. Glassware

My wife gave me a "Shot Glass" last year for my birthday. It is the .308 Version. I think it's pretty cool.

Re: PTC application page 2 question

I sent off my Arizona Permit Paperwork last Monday. The paperwork says 6-8 weeks. I'm hoping to get it before the last week in April, so my planned trip, won't have me passing through a few states carrying illegally. Once I get it, it will have me covered in all the states I travel thru, going to 5...

Re: Dick's is now really hurting...

Golfball at 300 yds.jpg Perfect No, it's not perfect. Look at the logo in the upper right corner... NAGR is the parent organization of Minnesota Gun Rights. AKA our "friends" from Iowa who come up here, and $#!+ on everything Bryan and Rob do. They will NEVER get a penny from me. But, I l...

Re: Dick's is now really hurting...

Dick's isn't a sporting goods store, they are are a clothing and accessory store. Their gun section has been small and now appears it is going away. The fishing section is amateur hour, walmart level stuff. Other than that they sell shoes and spandex, as long as the clothing has a 'hot' brand they ...

Shout Out To smurfman

Earlier this morning smufman messaged me about Fleet Farm having their CCI #35 50 BMG Primers on clearance. So, instead of going to sleep at my usual 8 am, I got dressed and went to FF at Brooklyn Park. They had 1800 primers on the shelf, all the same Lot #. I purchased ALL they had. He mentioned th...
