I know this post is a little old but I'm a lefty and my first pistol was an HK P2000. I chose it because it is completely ambidextrous. It's a great gun, is easy to carry, and is fun to shoot. That being said all my other pistols are very easy to shoot and the manual safety (if the gun has one) is r...
I started shooting when I was about 5 years old. I started on a .22 learning gun safety and how to shoot from my Dad. Been shooting ever since. I'm 25 now so about 20 years.
Not yet. It is next on my list of things to do. My plan was to get it right away in November and that didn't happen but I'm planning on getting it within the next month. My MN carry permit isn't doing me a whole lot of good anymore.
Hey everyone. I'm not new here but I haven't been on in a long time and there is quite a few new people so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. I'm from the North Suburbs and have been shooting since i was 6 yrs old. I'm into pretty much anything shooting. I have been to some of the mnguntalk events in...

So the calendar here shows that there is a USPSA match tomorrow but when I click on link to MG&F's website there is no mention of a match. What's the deal, anybody know if there's a match?
I was wondering if there is anybody who will be attending the 3-gun on Sunday at MG&F and has a spare 12 gauge speed stripper or two would be willing to let me borrow it for the match. I have one and have been meaning to order another one or two but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Thank you.
I know that there have been previous threads before about checking a firearm while traveling and I've read them but the thought of trying it makes me a little uneasy so I thought I'd create a poll and see what people's experiences have been. I'm getting married and for the honeymoon we are going to ...
I own an XD and I own a Glock. I quite enjoy them both. I've also put quite a few rounds downrange through my friend's M&P. That is also quite nice and wouldn't hesitate to buy one. But I'm probably not a very good person to ask because I pretty much like every gun. My 1911, Sig, and HK are all ...
I have an XD40 subcompact and love it as well. For such a small gun with such a short barrel it is extremely accurate. Pretty much is my primary carry gun however I do admit to carrying my Sig P229 almost all winter. Although now that it's spring I might go back to the XD shortly.
FirearmFan Not that I am an expert by any means, but at the next local 3-gun look me up and I can give you a few drills that have worked for me in the reloading department. I can also show you a few modifications to your weapon that might help also. You can get much better at the loading part of 3-...
