Re: Would you pick Smith 586 or Ruger GP100 for your only revolv

I would go with a Ruger GP100 Match Champion for $720
I have a 6" GP100 that I love as well.

Re: Ruger GP100 6" barrel .357 magnum.

What weight springs did you go with and speed loaders? I need to order both myself.

Re: Ruger GP -100 match champion?

I have yet to try out competitive shooting events but would very much like to observe a match to see if its up my alley.

I can bring along the gp's if you wanted to meet up at one of the events to see how they fit your paws.

Re: Ruger GP -100 match champion?

Hope these help out. There is more room between my fingers and trigger gaurd on the wood houge grips compared to the wood side panel grips. http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq143/blaine-north/Mobile%20Uploads/20140429_220853.jpg http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq143/...

Re: Ruger GP -100 match champion?

Im at work now but Im guessing you have the black rubber grips with wood insert side panels?

I have a super redhawk with the grips I mentioned above that I believe work with GP100's as well.

If so I can take a few pictures tonight if you would like.

Re: Ruger GP -100 match champion?

I have always loved the black rubber Houge grips but since I have had my match champion the wood houge grips have proven to fit my hands better. I tent to fight the rubber finger groves in speed shooting and with gloves while the wood grips just "homes" in high on the back strap with no ne...

Re: Ruger GP100 6" barrel .357 magnum.

I have a dozen pistols and my 6" GP100 is my favorite. I shoot it out to 150yards no problem. I cant keep up with reloading with how much I love to shoot the gp. http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq143/blaine-north/Mobile%20Uploads/20140303_221006.jpg The 6" GP100 was my f...

Re: Red Dots on Handguns

I would really like to see some semi auto pistols ready to take red dots right out of the box. I love my gp100 with a fast fire III but find rails to be ugly IMO but also dont like drilling holes into any of my guns. http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq143/blaine-north/Mobile%20Uploads/...
