Re: Interesting tidbit overheard at Fleet Farm

... ammo prices will go down sooner or later. Okay. Bookmark this thread and come back to it in a year and let us know how things are going. Gladly. (Assuming, of course, that dummycrats don't pass some ammo/bullet tax and that a year from now we won't be in the middle of another panic/scare due to...

Re: Interesting tidbit overheard at Fleet Farm

This is a good time to sell ammo. The ammo makers are probably putting out as many rounds as they can, and eventually the people who are stocking up will stop buying due to lack of funds/space/spousal approval. It's just an ammo bubble. Be ready for the down side! And there will be a down side. I d...

Re: Interesting tidbit overheard at Fleet Farm

Want food, ammo, or anything else from me in a disaster, send your daughter. The hot one, not the fat one. :o  Careful. Just as she starts showing some skin and your blood starts pumping, you lose concentration a bit and she slits your throat. Then Dad walks in to your castle and takes eve...

Re: Gun talks prior to play dates

If I had small children, I would want to know that the parents of their friends prevent unwanted access to guns.
And, of course, that they block acccess to dummycrats.

Re: Interesting tidbit overheard at Fleet Farm

Also, just for clarification, I meant to pick a smilie that said "shock", not the smilie that would appear to indicate that it is surprising that I would pick the hot one instead of the fat one.

I thought you vere talking about different kind of alternate lifestyles, as in being adopted by a gay couple. :o
But hey, free guns are free guns, just don't let the new parents "tuck you in" at night.

Re: Is the panic over?

I don't see ammo demand being less than supply anytime in the near future.....and if it is we may see a couple sales, but not much "panic" If you're thinking that suppliers are going to start panicking with too much inventory sometime soon (or anytime), and then dropping their prices way ...

This. Plus, they don't even realize they are over paying.

And on top of that, they may not even know that they are... Wait, nevermind.

Re: Is the panic over?

I'm paying close attention, and if the sellers run their business intelligently there will be no need to panic. What do you think are the odds that the manufacturers, distributors and retailers will all manage to perfectly coordinate that together? Hint: There would have been more ammo in the pipel...

Re: Entry Level Gun Safe @ Costco

Here is food for thought. A lock only keeps an honest person honest. A thief will take it weather its locked or not. A safe be it a 500 costco special or a 5000 fort knox is just gonna slow a thief down. If they really want it, they are gonna take it. Nothing you can do about it. With the exception...

Re: Is the panic over?

I understand a price increase has been put into effect for April 1. At least that's what my favorite gun store told me. Sure. And as soon as the internet guys start having sales again, he's gonna tell you that the increase has been lifted... Or that he's just a nice guy (and possibly that you are s...
