Re: Cuffed and Caged for Open Carry

I will post a picture later tonight, but the holster is actually for the specified firearm. It may look large because of the low hang, but thats because its a duty style holster. Starts low, ends low.

Re: Cuffed and Caged for Open Carry

Either way, unless this guy was on the WAY south side of Coon Rapids, I think he should have been safe. LMAO. Anyway... if this is your 3 similar experience then I submit to you that something needs to change. It might not be right... but for some reason people are taking issue with you/something y...

Re: Cuffed and Caged for Open Carry

Its actually my mothers. She recieved it as a gift after saving some guy from drowing. Oh man. This just gets better and better. The only thing that would make it better is if he and his flag delivered the pizza pies in a rusty Chevy C-10 4x4. I do drive a Chev pickup! Hey, you kinda mind rea...

Re: Cuffed and Caged for Open Carry

Interesting backdrop. Sore loser? ??? Not at all? My statement is still true, a CZ 82 is not an overly common gun to track down quickly if the story were not true. I think he meant the flag. Meaning: Sore loser = somebody who clings to the Confederacy. I honestly don't have an opinion(conveniently)...

+1 I will sit on the floor cross-legged, goggle-eyed like a cult member and eat up anything he says if he gets that pic posted toot sweet.

Please post a verification pic of you in said shorts and sandals with said CZ-82.

Give me 5min to figure out how to post that.

Re: Cuffed and Caged for Open Carry

It sounds like the officer was professional enough to realize and admit it was something he was not very familiar with. It sounds like all went well, good job. But was he professional enough to apologize for the unreasonable cuffing and stuffing? I'm guessing not. Madrevar, it sounds like you handl...

Re: Cuffed and Caged for Open Carry

Right there is where I became skeptical. For me it was that the one and only post is a police 'screwery' story. I am not saying it is not true or did not happen... Just saying. I can appreciate how it would look suspicious, but to be honest I haven't had anything interesting to post until last mond...

Re: Cuffed and Caged for Open Carry

What if some bad guy grabs your gun? I'll just grab it back. 3-2-09 I am wearing nothing but shorts/tshirt/sandals with only wallet/gun on me, with keys in left hand and beverage in right. Right there is where I became skeptical. I don't normally wear those things on such a day, but it was laundry ...

It may be legal to open carry, but probably not the best choice. Cover up next time. What if some bad guy grabs your gun?

Oh come on now, you know and I know that has never happened to a permit carrier . . .

Cuffed and Caged for Open Carry

3-2-09 12:30pm Coon Rapids (Riverdale Crossing) For reference, I begin this story carrying a CZ82 9x18mm in an all but unused Czech leather police holster, with thumb-break. I am wearing nothing but shorts/tshirt/sandals with only wallet/gun on me, with keys in left hand and beverage in right. My gi...
