DNR Requesting comments on Elk Management Plan 2016-2020

The DNR has revised its Elk management plan for 2016-2020 and is holding meetings Dec 3 - 16th for comments and is also
taking comments via email and snail mail.

This looks like the product of "Gutless field dressing". If you search on Youtube there are videos that describe this
method of butchering. Seems very wasteful to me.

The latest that I heard from the group over on the Saubier.com forum is that new brass and ammo were supposed to be available towards the end of February but that has now been pushed out to middle of summer or late fall. Apparently they are having manufacturing problems with the cases.

Yes, I paid $6.99 for CCI subsonics, $7.99 for CCI Min-Mag and $12.99 for the CCI Specialty. They had bright orange price stickers on them. So I'm not sure
if they're marked up recently or what. It was the first time I had been in Capras shopping for ammo.

I found sticks of CCI min-mag, CCI Subsonic and CCI Specialty (I think thats what its called) at Capra's Outdoors. They also had bulk boxes of Federal Match. Fleet Farm in Booklyn Park and Blaine still have CCI Velocitor and CCI Stinger small boxes. Everything else is cleaned out. I saw bulk CCI Min...
