Re: Interested in NRA/CMP Matches

Guys this category would take off with some of the thousands of AR guys that do not want to shoot the service rifle or F class. I have been looking for this category to shoot in for 5 years. Most people I talk to including myself up until just the other day, do not know it even exist. I will definit...

Re: Interested in NRA/CMP Matches

Thanks Rip I will check out the December match. I'm also interested in MRP. Don't think F class is my thing but I could be wrong.

I have read that there is an optic class now and a MRP/Tatical category . Does anyone know if there are any of these m...

Re: I want to shoot TX hogs. What gear?

If it were me I would go with the 6.8SPC. It is a great round for hogs and deer. There is also plenty of factory offerings for ammo from 85gr to 130gr bullets. The standard is a 110-115gr bullet. Federal and S&B make some inexpensive plinking rounds. Here is a link to a complete upper for $425.00

And the fact that probably most of their employees that would be doing the paperwork are prohibited from legally owning one.

Re: Interested In NRA High Power

I can understand that Rip. If all go well and I do not have to work I will be there with my 22LR.

Re: Interested In NRA High Power

Cool Rip. Looks like I need to sign up for the clinic. I'm guessing it will explain it all to me if I attended. I see there is a Mini Palma shoot next Saturday. If I understand the flyercorrectly. I can shoot my scoped AR15 as long as it is of a .22 cal. Is that correct? If so I'm game for next week...

Interested In NRA High Power

Hello are any of you into NRA high power matches? I would like to know more about them from a local competitor. Specifically interested in the service rifle matches and rules. It would be great to meet someone that can meet up with me and show mme what it's all about.

Thank you,
Mark

Re: "Saturday Night Special" Law

Ok so let's get some things straight here. Just because a receiver is cast does not mean it's "pot metal". I am a Moldmaker and you can cast S7, SS, Aluminum etc. The next thing is I helped build the original Henry receiver molds when they were reintroduced back in like 1999 They were and ...
