Re: Would gun owners really be OK with this?

Shall not be infringed. Thought I would get that out there. That's a nice catch phrase, but that ship sailed dang near a century ago. Personally, I don't trust any "compromise" on existing law unless there's some provision that the agreement cannot be modified and no new laws introduced f...

Re: holster retention systems

I use a Safariland with ALS for my G27 when riding in my side by side. It locks up very securely and is intuitive to unlock. It's not a small holster though, so concealment would be compromised. It may or may not matter, but it also has a pretty loud click/clunk when engaging.

Re: Boulder mass shooting suspect identified

I agree, but it will make absolutely no difference. The politics of this are baked in and the Democrats already have their bills introduced.

Re: This Encrypted Gun Registry Might Bridge a Partisan Divide

If it's accessible to LE, what's the privacy protection? I guess maybe you won't find a list of your guns in the Start Tribune, but "the man" sure as heck will have it.

Re: Vaccination Cards

More specifically, employers are entitled — and required — to ensure a safe workplace in which "an individual shall not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of individuals in the workplace." That can mean a company requiring its workforce to be vaccinated... Since CDC is saying it...

Re: Vaccination Cards

What wasn't mentioned in the article is that N95 masks are for "nuisance" particles 0.3 microns and larger such as sawdust (comparatively read as "wood-chips") and offer basically zero protection against viruses such as COVID-19 which is a teeny-tiny 0.06 microns or one fifth of...

Re: Vaccination Cards

^^^^^^^

Yes. A fitted N95 is an entirely different deal than a bandana below your nose. When people say "masks don't work"......it depends.

Re: Vaccination Cards

Even the CDC website says only 6% of "Covid deaths" were people that were healthy and not going to die from anything any time soon and got the 'Rona and died. There is PLENTY wrong with the government response to Covid, but I don't think I'd take that widely touted number at face value. I...

Re: Vaccination Cards

I will get it because I work in a field designated "Very High Risk". The chances I'd die from it aren't great, but I'd rather not be sick for several weeks or spend my retirement carrying around oxygen bottles, either. The vaccine card doesn't look much different than the ones we had as ki...

Diopter sight question

I've been getting into airguns a bit more for indoor practice and am really enjoying it. Right now, I've got an Air Arms 510 set up with a scope, but have always wanted to try a biathlon style rifle. Those are set up with diopter sights, not scopes. Is it even possible to shoot those sights properly...

Re: Glock 26 holster

I have several Milt Sparks Versa-Max 2 IWB holsters. The way they are designed makes them very secure. I've never had a snap pop open

Re: The state senate still republican controlled ?

Is it still holding? It looks like the Star Tribune has dropped the majority to one IF the projections hold. The uncalled races are almost all R incumbents.
