Re: Expensive Indoor Ranges

While that's true it's worth mentioning that you can shoot pistols in the 25 yard range (at least folks were doing so last weekend).

Re: Expensive Indoor Ranges

Oakdale Gun Club charges $20 for a WHOLE DAY, and the only additional fees are if you're shooting trap. That includes a 100 yard, 200 yard, 50 yard, and 25 yard ranges. Not to mention no per firearm fees. This is my go-to range after having visited there for the first time on Saturday. It's very ni...

Re: Any folks here know or buy reloads from ron in bloomington

For the last few years I've read Sam's reloading horror stories, saw the gory pictures and heard about his missing fingers.

And now I find out it's because of a snow blower accident? I gotta say.. I'm a little disappointed.

Re: Target Corp is no longer listening

Yep. It's legal and you have the right to do so. No qualms from me. Each will do as they see right.

Re: Target Corp is no longer listening

So it's okay for Target to hire armed guards to escort their money in and out of their stores. But they don't respect my desire to protect my family. Figures. I really don't want to shop at Walmart though. Yes. It's their store, their employees (contractors, vendors, etc) and their property. Target...

Target Corp is no longer listening

Thunder, you're right. I should have been more specific in my remarks. I don't have a problem with OC. I DO have a major problem with he strategies and tactics of the OCT folks.

Re: Target Corp is no longer listening

What OCT fails to understand is that ever single time this happens gun owners lose the image war. And that matters. A lot. I disagree that this was a "win" for carry advocates (no offense GOCRA). Prior to this entire ordeal, carrying in Target wasn't a big deal. We went about our business ...

Re: Target Corp is no longer listening

They learned well from Starbucks.

Edit: Oh, and the folks that pulled that BS in Texas are idiots.

3 gun setups/belts

Not sure when this match is or where you're located but if you could meet in Golden Valley tomorrow I have a belt, 3 quad shot gun shell holders, and some mag pouches I could lend you.

WTB: Turret Press and other misc gear.

Last fall I sold most of my reloading gear... and now regret it.

Therefore, I'm looking to buy a turret press and other misc gear (dies, powder measures, etc).

Drop me a line if you've got one sitting that you no longer use.

Thanks!

Re: Steel target shapes and sizes

May sound like an obvious note, but remember, if you get the knock-down ones you still gotta pick 'em up before the next round of shooting.

The walking back and forth gets to be a pain.
