Re: Walther P22

That is interesting. Hopefully the permit gets here this week so I can pick up a range gun while I anxiously await my order fulfillment. :)

Re: Some nice guns at Gander Woodbury

I ordered a fullsize. God only knows when it'll get here. But, when it does, I'm more than willing to let others put ammo through it.

Re: Gunbroker

They probably just mean they don't have any for local sale, i.e. they would rather sell on gunbroker for market price than sell to you at retail price. ^^^ this I'm no economist, but wouldn't the sale price be the market price, regardless if completed through a store front or through GB? sold in th...

Re: Walther P22

My input on this is that I'd go with the Ruger SR22 before the Walther. I liked the Sig Mosquito as well, but was turned off when it didn't RELIABLY function cheap .22 ammo. I think a .22 that only works well with the more expensive stuff is pointless. wife didn't like the rugers at Gander, and I d...

I've thought about it. Maybe I should be asking for more general opinions...

Re: Walther P22

The Ruger SR22 is a "improved" P22 many claim... Yea, no way I'd buy a P22 with the SR22 out. Walther doesn't even make the P22, Umarex does. I think it has a low grade metal slide to...like a pot metal of some sort? I could be wrong. You are correct GM. The pistol is made by Umarex and t...

Walther P22

Over in the for sale section, someone noted that their Walther P22 wasn't very suitable for new/inexperienced shooters. Opinions on this? Background: I'm new to guns, shot a cz75b stainless down at gander a few weeks ago. ordered one after completing my ccw class, and am awaiting my permit to arrive...

how does your represenative sit on HF 241?

Dear Mr. ***********, Thank you for your e-mail. I appreciate hearing from you. In addition to being your State Representative, I am also a 23-year veteran of the US Army and a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. I will not vote to take anyone's guns or magazines.
