Re: Salesforce Tells Gun Retailers to Stop Selling AR-15's

SalesForce just purchased Tableau. It is a great data visualization software suite... and I just purchased it for work (yearly subscription which is not cheap).

Will now look elsewhere for next year. Ughh.

Re: .22 LR

Palmetto has a good deal on ELEY right now. Cheapest I could find anywhere with free shipping options.

I bought a few boxes of ELEY Force.

Just picked mine up a couple weeks ago from last October. Wait times seem to be all over.

Re: 1911 fans please chime in.

My suggestion would be Dan Wesson for bang for your buck. 8-)

I know a few 1911 snobs around here who would have great opinions.

Re: 22lr lever guns

Wife loves her Browning BL-22. It is more expensive but will be something you will never give up and can hand down through the generations. Perfect size for a "smaller" person and the 30 degree throw is nice too. Worth every penny. ;) http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0278/2953/...

Re: New .223 Rifle

For a beginner and first rifle, it all depends on how much you want to spend, how much you want to tinker, with the knowledge that there is a platform that shoots better than most of the shooters on this board can. Are you one of those F-Class guys or something? How do you know how well most of the...

Re: best deal for 5.56/.223?

andrewP wrote:I was going to recommend sgammo.com, as they've usually got reasonable prices, but they seem to be pretty well cleaned out of .223/5.56 ammo at the moment.

Ditto.

For reloads... freedom munitions still is reasonable.

Re: Red dot Fail

No, that's exactly how it works. Astigmatism is pretty straightforward to correct with lenses as long as the optometrist gets the prescription right and the lab doing the grinding is competent. Ummm... OK... try one (reflex sight) with an astigmatism once... even with prescription... you know... yo...
