Re: Took my carry class

  In Mn it is just a carry permit as you have a choice of conceal or open carry. Symantics that make you smarter than the news media. :bolt: Symantec is a company, and that's not semantics, and I'm not sure what Symantics are. Yes, we do a have a choice, and the brave people choose to OC...

Re: Took my carry class

Congrats. Do you have your carry setup chosen already? Thanks. I am going to carry my SR9c and I am planning on carrying a Old Faithful IWB hip holster. Great holster choice. I have a few. Are you planning on building it yourself with one of the kits they offer or buying a pre-built holster? If you...

I took it up in a little town of Pine River. North of Brainerd.

Took my carry class

Finally took my conceal and carry class today. Since I am fairly new to handguns I learned some helpful things in today on how to help me be safe and aware throughout my day and evening. Now I just have to wait a little bit till I can afford to drop my info off with the sheriff. Here is my target. W...

Re: 5 trigger reset failures

I just stripped out the trigger assembly to see if I could see a problem. While removing the teardown pins I noticed that I put one of the pins in backwards. I pulled the assembly out and it looked good. I reinstalled it this time putting all the pins in correctly. I went out and put 50 rounds of Bl...

Re: 5 trigger reset failures

First, to clarify some terminology-'return to battery' is the slide fully closed on a fresh round. If that is happening, and the spent round has ejected, and the trigger isn't resetting. I believe there is something wrong with the gun. I am not familiar with that pistol. It's possible cleaning and ...

Re: 5 trigger reset failures

Does it fully cycle and return to battery when fired? If so I would not be suspect of the ammo as a reason the trigger doesn't reset. If it doesn't fully cycle it could be an ammo compatibility issue. Try different ammo. or perhaps your shooting technique; i.e. 'limp-wristing'. Does it behave diffe...

5 trigger reset failures

I have a Ruger SR9c that I have about 250 rounds through. I took it out and shot 50 rounds of Blazer Brass through and had at least 5 trigger reset issues. It fired a round then failed to go back to full ready postion. I have pulled the striker and cleaned both it and the channel. No extra grease in...

Re: Mills Fleet Farm shooting range

Thanks for coming to visit guys, we appreciate the support! We are pretty proud of the facility and staff, and also live by the words on the walls. We are starting to restrict a little more on ammo in hopes of having something for everyone. Even I have to buy my ammo in compliance with the limits, ...

Mills Fleet Farm shooting range

Headed into the Mills Fleet Farm shooting range in Brainerd to pick up some ammo and a safe. Looked up in their entry to see this. Thought it was pretty cool.
