Re: My New M1 Carbine!...... Sorta

Looks very good! Great job! One question....how/what does that replica box mag work with the Ruger rotary mag? Is it a mag made to fit the Ruger or is it some kind of cosmetic cover? The dummy mag extensions are for cosmetics only- It is made specifically to fit the standard Ruger mag. I simply hot...

My New M1 Carbine!...... Sorta

Thanks to Phil from the forum, I was able to trade some ammo for a Ruger 10/22 rifle a couple weeks back. I put it in a replica M1 carbine stock set. I have been wanting to do this for a long time. The stock set/sling/oiler originally came from Sarco, and the rest (Tech 200 sights, uncut handguard, ...

Re: 10/22 front sight removal

clamp it in a vice with soft jaws and take a hack saw or dremel right through the middle of it until you're almost through, should relieve the pressure. I have heard of people having to cut it out as well. Some people have recommended removing the 10/22 front sight from left to right. I think the k...

Re: Indoor Shooting Range

If you are open to the possibility of something turn-key, My local gun shop here in New Ulm (The Hunter's Den) closed in September of last year, due to health issues of the owner. They have a fantastic indoor gun range already set up and ready to go. I am very sad, as I have nowhere to shoot anymore...

Re: Nagant stripper clips

About 5-6 years ago there was a guy selling brass clips on eBay, that he made. I bought about 20 of them and they work great. I looked there recently and he seems to have disappeared...

Re: Is the panic over?

I made a typo- The .45 BrassMaxx was $19.97 for the 50rd box. Sorry!

Yeah, I like the Federal too. Especially since its made up in Anoka! :bravo:

Re: Is the panic over?

WM in New Ulm keeps their ammo in a locked cabinet, so you have to ask the department manager to get it out for you. If you don't have any other shopping to do, They ring you out right there, Otherwise they take your ammo to a designated checkout for you, while you finish up your other shopping. I a...

Re: Is the panic over?

My local WM (New Ulm) has been pretty good the last few weeks- I've been able to get 9mm and .45 auto regularly. Today was incredible. Dozens of boxes of 9mm and .45 Winchester white box and Federal, in both 50 round and 100 round value packs. There was even a few boxes of Winchester .45 JHP! They a...
