WTT Ammo

Hi fellas,

Does anyone need 7.92x57 (8mm) Mauser and would be willing to offer 12 gauge 00 buck or slug, or 7.62x39 in trade? I have 1944 Turkish, 1950's Yugoslavian, and 1970's Romanian.
I'm located in Ramsey, MN.

DO NOT buy from iDamon at Tommygunner.com

Fourth reminder in three months to iDamon to send the EZ-Pull Kahr Tommy kit I ordered on Sept 2017. Today is Dec 11th. I think that he's run out of excuses. Last time he said for the second time that they are in stock. This is a warning to all who want to lighten the recoil springs in your Kahr Tho...

WTS: EXCEPTIONAL German MG-42 Lafette w/optics & dummy MG-42

Hello fellow WWII enthusiasts and machine gunners! Well, I need to raise some serious cash to buy a 2003 BMW R1150GS Adventure motorcycle. It's well used with 113,000 miles, but still a well maintained machine, and since I'm tight on money with a baby born just last week, the following is up for sal...

Re: who roughs it

Me and a fellow hiker almost froze to death two months ago staying overnight at 12,730' near the summit of Mt Elbert in Colorado with no winter clothing in low 30's temperature and almost completely out of water and food. Hypothermia: I don't personally recommend it. Before that I walked across Gran...

Re: New (used) H&K P7

The PSP (P7) has become my first (and only) carry gun. That's only because I can't hide the MG-42 under the trenchcoat.

Re: Whole Lotta Brass - $100.00 OBO

As you stated, your price is negotiable. I think it may take a while to sell because there are fewer reloaders out there among this crowd than you might think. Lots of pistol shooters here. I reload the WWII German rifle, MG, and pistol calibers mostly, and am sitting on a pile of 5.56mm and 9mm par...

Re: WWII collector, been lurking here

Sounds like you got some of the nicest WWII arms while the getting was good, several years ago. I am a relative latecomer to gun collecting compared to most of you folks, having spent many more years making medieval armour and weapons and have been a pretty serious reenactor for several historical p...

Re: WWII collector, been lurking here

A dozen WWII weapons is still more than I have, though some of mine are expensive in the extreme for us working folk. Here's an idea for a gift for your Irish buddy. Get an M1 Garand bayonet, or an American WWII canteen, the one with the "U.S." printed on the insulating cover. A GI Helmet ...

Re: How re-blue or blacken mag release button

I've got lots of experience with cold bluing as a method of touching up areas where tbe bluing has thinned on military firearms. Provided the part is carbon steel and not stainless, there are several products available. I have had good luck with Brownells "Oxpho Blue" available at any loca...

Re: WWII collector, been lurking here

That is a Greek ballista c.250 BC, one of only three known working ones. It took me about two years to build from ash hardwood and iron. It hurls a 3 pound stone stone accurately over 265 yards. I just sold it to a friend in Texas. It'll be on display in an educational catapult park. I have many wea...
