Re: Paymar wants to reintroduce ban on private sales

Yes, his constituents are all men with lacy underpants.

Have we dealt with our low self-esteem sufficiently now?

Interesting Story

Can't buy son a gun and take a picture without getting harassed.

Police wanted to search without warrant.

Re: Colorado has fallen.

Never been there doesn't mean you wouldn't have gone in the future.

Never been either but I'm starting my boycott now.

Re: Hearing March 21

We could also wonder if he might try to sneak in some stuff on our concealed carry permits--either the "May" issue language or issue by police chiefs instead of sheriffs or limiting its use to one year for buying guns.

Re: Paymar wants to reintroduce ban on private sales

So you're OK with freedom of expression as long as it's the same as yours. No, but I do think that childish pictures ridiculing our opponents make us look stupid. They also confirm the (all too strong and prevailing) stereotype of us as offensive and ignorant buffoons and bullies. Do you think peop...

Re: Paymar wants to reintroduce ban on private sales

Some of the posters here are apparently functioning at a junior high school level.

I don't see how the pictures posted above help our cause.

Re: SF458 dead in committee!

Gun control is a sinking ship and politicians are jostling each other in a frenzied attempt to get to the lifeboats.

I sense a degree of panic.

This is good.

Re: Dayton slams NRA's 'bogus' gun arguments

Yeah, let's continue to make enemies for gun owners and prove that we're all Neanderthals by bashing and namecalling our governor.

That's real bright.

Re: SPLC report provides much needed "Ammo" for gun grabbers

Not necessarily, but some undoubtedly are.

It just depends on their peer group.

Re: Dayton slams NRA's 'bogus' gun arguments

And yet the same people howl to high heaven when we ask for ID to vote. Isn't voting a right? If they propose background checks on one right, why not on all? Morons. I find it funny that some people support voter ID but oppose gun registration. Lack of consistency right there. Yeah, I oppose both. ...

Lights wrote:The part they forgot about is, it is just not only the right wing Patriot groups that are pist off. It is almost everyone that I talk to. Note just the right wing gun nuts.

That's great, as long as you talk to some normal people and not just right wing gun nuts.

Re: Paymar Bill Dead

If that annoyance only strengthened his will.....how did it help us?

We have to use wisdom in all our efforts.

Concentrate on those who HAVE NOT already made up their minds and speak in a measured and reasonable fashion.

Re: Dayton slams NRA's 'bogus' gun arguments

You don't have a choice now.

You can only behave in a manner that does not bring animosity toward gun owners.

Unless you really just want to harm our cause.

Re: Dayton slams NRA's 'bogus' gun arguments

Let's stick to the facts. Dayton hasn't vetoed anything. Excuse me? That's just flat out not true at all... I think you need to check facts before you speak of them. http://minnesota.publicradio.org/collections/special/columns/polinaut/archive/2012/03/dayton_vetoes_g_1.shtml Governor Dayton has vet...
