Re: Anyone shed a tear?

Yes he is staying in DC, bought a big Town home and is in the process of building a wall around it! I don't like the fact that he is going to try to be a thorn in the side of Trump. As a past president you should fade into the background and stay classy. Carter did it, Reagan did it, Bush did it, Cl...

Re: Big Ugly Russian guns

I saw a double barrel 4 gauge hanging on the wall in a sporting goods store in Bemidji years ago, was a commercial hunting gun!

Re: Cutting down a shotgun barrel

I did a quick search on gunbroker.com, there are a lot of short barrels for a 870. Top one on the list was a police barrel 18.5" with sights for $116, looked at it and they are new barrels. There's a variety of price ranges on the site!

Re: Bolt or Semi Auto for deer

I've got a 300 Win mag bolt action for larger game, had a 30.06 semi that worked will for deer in the open fields of western ND, and a 30-30 lever action for in he woods in MN. If it were me, I'd buy one of each, in somewhat different calibers, so you can ...

Re: League of Women Voters - Guns: The Issues

I wish someone would have dissected the numbers that Nancy spewed forth from her talking points. Although Bryan spoke of how many of the total deaths are caused by long guns, of any type each year, the 30,000 number while accurate is approximately 65% suicide. If I remember right, I looked up the su...

Re: FBI: Nearly Three Times More People Stabbed to Death Than...

Re: Gun buy back in Minneapolis

I was first inline. Arrived around9:30. When 10 o'clock showed we had to wait until two officers showed up to actually take possession on the guns. Re: Sportsman's Guide

I bought my last handgun there, ordered it and they notified me when it was available for pickup. Saved my FFL fee, but had to pay a firearm fee at the store. Even at that, my cost for a new XDs was only $10 more than a friend paid for his, and he got his at cost thru his employer. It took 3 days to...
