Colorado School Shooting

I had not heard this part, nor was it in the papers or any of the online accounts. I did read the part about him being a socialist, but didn't know he was confronted by an armed deputy.

Re: What'd you take deer hunting this year?

I hunt with a Glenfield Marlin 30-30.

We ended up getting a nice 6 point, and a large doe, for the two of us. Nothing was moving Saturday, too windy and snowy, Sunday we saw a few, got one. Monday saw a few and got the other.

Re: My first real/wheel gun. (S&W 586)

Nice weapon! I love shooting wheel guns, I've got them in 5 calibers and love shooting them all! I also have semi-autos and shoot them too!

Re: Core 15 Tactical M4 Piston Rifle

Core 15 was developed by engineers that worked for Bushmaster. When Bushmaster was sold they decided to start their own company and develop their own line of weapons. These were top level engineers with Bushmaster, and have years of experience. I bought a Core-15 last December. I like the feel, and ...

Re: Is the panic over?

I was at Streichers for their tent sale several weeks ago. They had cases of AR 30 Round PMags for sale for $11.99 each, no limit. I haven't been ammo shopping since the Navy yard shooting, but prior to that I could find ammo in the stores and on the shelves just about anywhere. The only real except...

Re: Here comes another push

Yeah and the Annointed One, during the memorial ceremony at the Navy yard called for strengthening the laws around guns again. Not the best place to do it, but let no good tragedy go to waste!

Not true, pre-ban also applies to Semi Automatic hand guns. The ban, banned all magazines that held more than 10 rounds.

Re: STRIB Colorado recall results coverage this morning

Personally, I dropped my subscription a long time ago. They kept calling for a long time trying to get me back as a subscriber, but I don't get those calls anymore. I've been without this birdcage liner now for close to 7 years, and will only look at it online occasionally to check out a story. They...

Re: Core 15 rifle

I've got a Core 15 and love it, it is a piston model as opposed to gas impingement. I had a problem early on with it, but contacted Wyndham and they fixed it within 2 weeks (including shipping) at no cost to me. They paid shipping both ways, and were prompt in fixing it. If you look at their website...

Re: Picked up my PK380 today, now to find ammo

Cabelas had all kinds of .380 on Sunday. $18 for 50 rounds of FMJ. Don't remember the brand but plenty on the shelf. I too have a PK380 and love it. Shoots great, my only gripe is I've had a couple empty cases drop down my shirt, because the eject straight up. It only hurts for a couple seconds! Thi...
