EAA Witness 10mm

I have a possible deal on an EAA Witness 10mm in stainless. I was looking for a little feedback on this model as I've read good and bad about it. I've shot a 9mm in the this platform and I like the feel and fit. It comes with 4 mags and 2 holsters and has a little holster wear. Other than that its i...

Re: 38-55 reloads

I know that Lyman 48th has some data on the 38-55, and Cartridges of the World had some factory recipes listed. But as Sam so eloquently stated, there is much to read in the manuals other than the load data, and hopefully you have read at least a couple of them at this point. And, also have a solid ...

Re: Cabela's has .22 in their online store

Same here. Couldn't believe I made it through checkout without them being backordered. Then the confirmation email came, stating the opposite. At least it says they should ship on the 25th.

Re: I had to rescue it....

I've been stuck in Dickinson since the day after I bought it. Can't wait to get home and run some rounds through it. Now if I could find some magnum primers to light the W296, for a nice hot load, that would make it all the better when I do finally get to shoot it. I'll have to compare the recoil be...

I had to rescue it....

So, I am driving through Wadena today, and thought I would see what the LGS was like. Nice shop, great owner, and after chatting for a bit, I glanced down at what I thought was a comp'ed 1911. Then I noticed it was a Coonan. :o:o:oI couldn't believe my eyes, there in his inventory, for sale. With th...

Re: New piece for the collection

S&W has a good warranty, so if I have problems I'm confident they'll correct it. In the mean time, I'll keep my fingers crossed til it's broke in. I enjoy shooting it so I'd miss it if I had to warranty it though. Did you ever find out what caused the lockup? Was it sent back to S&W after th...

Re: New member from Brainerd Lakes Area

Welcome from Pequot Lakes. I am assuming you're talking about Mills. I was just at the range yesterday morning trying out the new Shield I bought the day before. Love the new facility, great staff, and good prices.

New piece for the collection

Picked up a M&P SHIELD .40 yesterday. Took it to the range this morning to toss some lead down range. No problems with 100 rds thru the pipe. This is my first .40 sw chambered fun toy, and I am wondering what most of you shoot for factory target loads. I saw an equal amount of 165 gr and 180 gr ...

Re: Anyone seen any W296 in stock?

I am looking for the same. On my way out to Dickinson, I stopped at quite a few places, Scheels, Runnings, GM, a few small LGS's, and didn't find any. I'll check them all again on the return trip. At the terminus of my travels is Mills Shooting Center, hopefully they'll have some. Sent from somewher...

Hi from Pequot Lakes area

Hi all, Thought I should join this great community of fellow firearms enthusiasts, as I have popped in from time to time looking for information, and never left without the wisdom and insight I was hoping to find. I've been shooting as long as I was able to hold a 10/22(about 3 1/2 yo). My family ha...
