Re: Ruger SR22 problems, should I send it back?

Talked to Ruger and they emailed me a prepaid shipping label to send it in. Big FU goes out to Gander for trying to sell me supplemental warranty service (did not buy) by telling me if I had to send it in I would pay air shipping there and back. Some of us have to learn the hard way...

Re: What's your companies policy for carrying at the office??

Just started new job, no signs on any doors I went in. No mention of it in orientation, so I started to think I was golden, but reading the policies in detail it is expressly forbidden and would likely mean termination.

Re: Baby Eagle II Compact 9mm

I have a full size BE in poly. One of my favorites to bring with every range trip. It has shot every factory ammo I've found and handloads, without any problems. Comfortable to shoot and more accurate than I am. How is the trigger on the compact? The double action pull on mine feels like I'm draggi...

Ruger SR22 problems, should I send it back?

Bought this SR22 (bi-tone, no that is matters) new a couple months ago, and it has given me a couple problems. Not sure if I should send it back, have someone look at it, or what. I have never had a real problem with a brand new gun, and have no idea about sending one back to factory, so I am lookin...

Discount 5.11 clothes & misc "tactical" gear @ daily steals

This is the "heist" section of the Daily Steals site that I get tempted to buy from pretty frequently. Had some 5.11 shirts and pants and some other gear, and they always have free shipping, although it frequently takes 7-10 days to ship and ships at slowest service. For me, it is usually ...

Baby Eagle II Compact 9mm

Finally picked the Baby up yesterday and made it to the range today. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d15/gnasses/20130804_143325_zps64c185f2.jpg Ate up all the different 115g ammo I fed it, Winchester White box, Remington UMC, and Blazer Brass with no malfunctions of any kind. Shot...

Re: Where to buy Century Arms (Canik55) Stingray-C

FInally laid my hands on the Stingray-C at GM in EP (Listed at almost $100 more than the dealers from this forums I was recommended) and it was pretty nice, but I felt the Baby Eagle II fit my hand a little better and had a slightly smoother DA trigger pull, so that is what I went with. Unfortunatel...

Re: How do I decide on a reliable hand gun?

My wife has carried in her purse going on 10 years and has yet to catch anything in it. She has it in a pocket holster. It's really funny how some members can turn questions and methods into a your gonna blow your head off..... A pocket holster is the ONLY way you should be carrying a gun in...

Re: Where to buy Century Arms (Canik55) Stingray-C

I'm generally not a fan of slide mounted safeties (it's not a deal breaker), but that top pic looks like a poorly fitted rear sight on a GI 1911. :( I like DA/SA and when I was younger, the pistols I liked that had ambi safeties were the S&Ws so this is what I am used to, unfortunately I just d...

Re: Brass Needed To Help WasFuzz

Not sure if you are still collecting, but I didn't see .358 Winchester listed in any of your lists. I don't have any spent brass, and I'm not planning to take that rifle out anytime soon but would be happy to donate a round if I can figure out how to get it to you. I know its just a necked up .308, ...

Re: Where to buy Century Arms (Canik55) Stingray-C

Now I am torn between this and the very similar Baby Eagle II compact which is a little bit more, but I have actually put my grubby mitts on it, and it has a slide mounted safety that is very consistent with my S&W. Canik http://ximages.wholesalehunter.com/prodpics/centpichg2024n_tn.jpg BE http:...

Re: Where to buy Century Arms (Canik55) Stingray-C

Phatspeed: I like the Tristars but no ambidextrous controls is a big deal for a carry gun for a semi-ambidextrous lefty like myself. I'm left eye dominant, write or paint with the left, but learned to shoot right handed as a kid. I also bat, throw, box, and shoot a basketball (mostly) right handed. ...

Where to buy Century Arms (Canik55) Stingray-C

Taking my PTC class tomorow and although I am confident with my S&W 4516 as a carry gun I am interested in the Century Arms imported turkish Canik55 Stingray-C compact cz type pistol for a slightly smaller carry gun in 9mm. I really like my wife's turkish SAR K2 and this has gotten even better r...
