Re: A novel approach to increased police accountability In Mpls.

jbrawny, you pretty much nailed it. This kind of liberal nonsense/proposal has no shot of happening in MN. This kind of anti LE topic is bothersome, to say the least. I've seen too much of the anti LE rhetoric, on firearms message boards lately. It really goes to show how ignorant some are, about ho...

Re: Seanate Nuclear Option

Let this be a motivation for those that need to be motivated, to invoke change in the shift of power via the 2014 elections. It's that simple. The only way this won't be as much of an issue in the long run, is to vote in the candidates that stand for 2A rights. Whining about what the Senate just did...

Re: Conceal Carry classes low income

I don't necessarily disagree with your viewpoint, just comes off as angry when you deliver it with a sledgehammer. I think Mary B got the message. Thanks for the lesson in self reliance. Carry on. Nothing angry about it. If you question someone's level of 'compassion' on the board here, you get the...

Re: A cheap carry knife

OK, I'll take for face value what the statutes say vs. a graphic on a facebook page. Bottom line is is if you intend on carrying your katana concealed somewhere, you might want to check the local ordinances first before you do so.

Re: Shooting At Los Angeles Airport — TSA Agent Reportedly Shot

Yup, and the federal government, with budgeting problems, and a gigantic deficit, could afford to send all those part-time TSA agents to FLETC, right? Not gonna happen. I agree that the sworn federal LEO's would have a big problem with the whole idea.

Re: A cheap carry knife

I shared this on the MN Carry Facebook page recently regarding that: http://www.loveinfographics.com/categories/society-infographics/state-knife-possession-laws-know-your-rights-infographic Nice graphics, but I already read MN Statutes 609.02, and 609.66, and did not see anything about a 3" le...

Re: Conceal Carry classes low income

He ran a stop sign and I t-boned him at 40mph. You t-boned him?- say what? Life can really suck sometimes. Get used to it. There is no such thing as free lunch. We all go through trials, and if we posted them all here, this site might crash. Suck it up, wait for the cash and quit whining. Simple. N...

Dante wrote:Someone please remind me what the legal blade length is in MN?

Thanks!

The answer varies from city to city, town, township, county, etc. You need to check local ordinances to get an answer. It also depends on what kind of bladed implement you are talking about, as well.

Re: Shooting At Los Angeles Airport — TSA Agent Reportedly Shot

I saw another photo of the weapon on another tv news broadcast, and it looked like an ar-15 with stainless hardware, similar to a stainless mini-14. I stand corrected, if it is the later, instead of the former.

Re: Bolt Gun Explodes at Gun Range

[quote="Thunder71"]Love the photo of an o/u shotgun aiming at you for the story. Yup, the national coverage of the LAX shooting isn't enough, so the the local media machine has to keep any incident in the forefront, to keep indoctrinating the masses. Not trying to minimize the seriousness ...

Re: Ever regret selling some guns?

I've traded a few, and wish I had some of them back. Especially the Marlin lever action rifles. Makes me irritated just thinking about those blunders.

Hello to all

I registered a few months ago, but forgot to introduce myself, and have already thrown out a few replies without an introduction. So hello to all. This sure seems like a lively bunch here at MGT. I look forward to the ride with everyone here.

Re: Is the media frenzy over shootings actually helping?

The news of the day about healthcare, the government, the impending election, and the holiday season approaching, will help divert most of the attention away from incidents rather quickly. I agree people are becoming weary of the drum pounding, but our guard should not be let down one bit. The anti'...

Re: Shooting At Los Angeles Airport — TSA Agent Reportedly Shot

Shooter used a Ruger Mini 14, stainless with black stock. CBS news just showed a photo of the shooting scene, and this rifle was laying on the floor. Great, just great. So much for this rifle being left off the ban list in the future, as it was in the last proposal/bill. It was already banned The r...
