Problem is the shrapnel, can damage and detonate other rounds in the pacakge/box/container. I watched someone drop a Dillon box of 100 on the floor, one went off and 3 were damaged enough to possibly cause a chain reaction. It would not cause a chain reaction. watch the video that lights refers too...

There is no real reason to clean the primer pockets. Think about it. How are you going to clean them if you are reloading with a progressive press. As stated a lot of carbon buildup can play a role on primer seating, just use good judgment if it looks dirty or you even think it should be cleaned ju...
