Use a cleaning rod with a jag tip on it and tap it out from the breech. So I should put the cleaning rod into the breech end of the barrel? What if the obstruction is much closer to that end? Would it make sense to push it out so that it travels as little as possible through the barrel? BTW, I am n...

Best way to clear an obstructed barrel?

I have a Sig Mosquito that has some kind of barrel obstruction. It was stored for almost a year at a friend's house and I don't know what he did to it, if anything.
What is the best way to clear the barrel without damaging it?

I have really enjoyed shooting my P290. Small enough to carry but still way better than a .380. I am looking to swap it out for another compact 9mm, the SCCY cpx2, which I bought and shot and think it is just as serviceable as the P290, for a fraction of the price.
