Re: What firearm are you using for deer opener?

Same thing I've been using for the past six (seven?) years.
Tikka T3 Lite in 7mm-08. Topped with a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40.
Backup is a Winchester model 100 in .308.

Re: OGC Picnic

Will the new 350 Legend, that's a straight walled case (centerfire) be able to be hunted with, in areas that are designated as shotgun or handgun? It's been years since I hunted (last hunted in GA) and the MN rules, reads like War & Peace. Not if it's a rifle. However, a pistol chambered in .35...

Re: Harrisburg, PA Lawsuit Bigger Win For 2A Than It Might Seem

And you would think it wouldn't need to be a citizen opening a lawsuit. Shouldn't the state's attorney general see the city statue that is in violation of state law and take them to court her/himself? Yes, he SHOULD. However, PA's AG is a Democrat, and in the 2016 election cycle, received $250K fro...

Re: San Francisco officials brand NRA a ‘domestic terrorist org'

Seriosly, what would need to happen to reverse this cultural shift? What event or series of events would need to happen to snap us out of this catatonic state? I'd imagine that being invaded by a foreign military would probably be sufficient, but not exactly a good way to get there. I'd be willing ...

Re: An interesting discussion on background checks

I think we all agree on here that that is their end goal. I think we've also drifted from the intent of the OP's linked article. (my bad) I'm curious, how many here would support a system as described in the linked article? With a few tweaks, I think I would. It's a reasonable, well thought out pro...

Re: An interesting discussion on background checks

Yes, but he's proposed a solution that only addresses the public agenda of the anti-gun zealots. They will never accept it, because it only addresses their claimed objectives, and does nothing to address their actual objectives. That is precisely why his proposed solution SHOULD be proposed. If you...

Re: Guns out of the safe and yet......

Actually, the Grendel is still undiagnosed and ill, but the others are fully functioning. None of them published an online manifesto either, so i don't expect a breakout with trouble to follow.... You need to get that Grendel running. What happens is a meteorite passes within a million miles of ear...

Re: Concealed carry holder shoots back, wounds 2 gunmen

WTF is going on in Chicago? Not that a permit holder shoots back, but that the news media is reporting on it. Holder must be doing something bad they don't want to have to talk about. What does Holder have to do with Chicago? Last I checked, he was in private practice. Did you perhaps mean ...

Re: Defense rests in trial of Minneapolis officer Noor

Remember there are some conservatives that live in Minneapolis. Guess they need to do a better job getting the vote out for their candidates or move to a suburb that could use their help. I doubt that will help, not sure how many are left. What the city needs is a flood of conservative illegal immi...

No, it's not perfect. Look at the logo in the upper right corner...

I'm assuming this it the Brainerd/Baxter store? I haven't seen a noticeable change at the Lakeville location.

Re: Lyman hand primer issue?

Sure am glad I have $12k in machines to fix a $42 product right out of the box. :| How is that different from $45,000.00 boat and tackle to catch $5.00 worth of fish? Drunk college chicks don't flash machinists because their lathes are sexy. Maybe you just don't hang around with the ri...

Re: Insurer Hit With $102K Fine for Selling Illegal NRA-Branded

Maybe I missed something, but it appeared to me that it was Washingon, not Illinois, that brought the action.
The insurance company - Illinois Union - was fined by the Washington Insurance Commissioner.
