Alright thanks everybody, I made sure my scale is ok I forgot that when I got my scale I made sure it was on with a calibrating weight. But for my press I bumped it up to the next bushing, settled the powder with 4 or 5 drops the weighed it and it was barely under 18 grains so that's good enough for...
So I just picked up a can of red dot today and I got home started weighing the charges with the correct powder bushing in my Lee load All 2 press. It was supposed to be dropping 18 grains but my scale said it was 16.5 or a little lower. When I was using a different powder in my press it threw the co...
Subject says it all, I used to use american select, but I'm running low but there are still many many clays that need to be shot and I think red dot will perform better plus I heard its a little cheaper. And I live in a little town of St bonifacius(it's near Mound, Waconia, and Victoria if you don't...
Thanks for everybody's replies all of them are greatly appreciated, because of all the warnings I think il go get a better quality rifle in a right hand bolt configuration and just learn how to deal with it( I will mainly be shooting from a rest anyway)
Fleetfarm has Savage rifles with a scope for just over $300, I do not know if they have left hand guns for the same price. I have a Savage Model 11 in .308 that i like alot. [url][URL=http://s148.photobucket.com/user/KJJEEP/media/DSCF0207.jpg.html] http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s8/...
Alright thanks, yeah I've heard ups and downs with the trigger, and I looked at the ruger American too hoping they would have a left handed version but sadly they didn't but I guess it's not that big a deal so il look into it a bit more now thanks
Hello, some of you might recognize me from my reloading posts, and you might be relieved that I am now happily and safely reloading safe and functional rounds, but now I am deciding to go into the centerfire rifle world, if you don't know me I am only 13 but love to shoot and in my current "ars...
You seem to be confusing shot weight with shot size, or something. Plus you probably don't want to buy shot online, shipping will kill any savings over buying a box of shells in the store. Shot size is in your case #8 Shot weight is the amount of shot you use in each shell. It is measured in weight...

Yes I know what shot weight is I'm wondering how you can tell what the shot weight is will I have to measure it somehow or what? If you di...

Did you buy the Lee then?? MEC's have a bar for each weight and bushings for the powder. Get a MEC if you haven't bought anything yet. I would think Lee would be smart enough to label the bushings 7/8, 1 , 1 1/8 etc like MEC. But who knows. The density of chill vs magnum isn't enough to require new...
I'm new to shotshell reloading and I've noticed that to pick the right shot bushing I need to know the weight of my shot, but I don't know the weight of the shot I want to buy its #8 lead magnum if that helps.
I recently got a Mossberg 702 Plinkster. I took it out at the range for the first time last week and when I got home and was cleaning it I noticed its a little hard to clean the inside of the receiver and the barrel(yes I have a bore snake but its still a little hard to get the weight in the chamber...
Where can I find .22 LR ammo, my local fleet farm puts up the CCI 100 round packs and I get them when I see them but as soon as the get on the shelves they're gone the next day. I hear people getting them online but all the websites I see them advertised on say there out of stock so where's a good s...
