Re: AR Recoil pad

BuckKlier wrote:I found one from KICK EEZ got it from Midway, It is supposed to be pre-fit, Ha!, 1/4" too wide just a tad short. Thankfully I have a upright belt sander.

The real question is... which component is incorrect? Perhaps it is pre-fit and your stock is out of spec.

Re: Clay pigeon thrower recommendations,please.

I've seen both Wild Marsh and Caribou selling used ones in the past. But even those they were asking around $1k for I think. Might not hurt to call around to clubs to see if by any chance someone is selling one but I do not think they will be $500. You might want to think about something like a Prom...

Re: 300 black out won't chamber

I had the same problem on one of my rifles. I got a Columbia River 300BO with their custom C5 gas length right at the time they were abandoning their custom gas block which had the gas port slightly further out. End result was me having the tube for the custom block attached to a mill-spec gas block...

Re: PTC renewal took 3 days

It would be great to have inside insight into the permit processes in each sheriff's office to see whether 1) they are dragging their feet intentionally; 2) they truly have so many permits it keeps their assigned resource busy; or 3) the assigned resource works various things and permits are just a...

Re: Club entrance's

Beaverbrook started using prox cards a year and a half ago. Though I think it's just for the front gate so far. Works good, I even ran mine through the washing machine and dryer once by accident and it still works.

Re: Oakdale Gun Club - Thoughts?

Some of the older members can be grouchy at times, but they mean well. Ha. This made me laugh. Sad truth is that this is a common issue at pretty much every gun range I’ve visited. The old codgers scare away new blood. Someday we’ll be those old codgers. Lol. This is true of the radio control club ...

Re: Looking for a good AR trigger

Like everyone else I love the MBT but if one was looking for a drop in cheaper option hard to go wrong with a factory polished millspec like the Palmetto EPT combined with JP reduced power springs.

TACCOM does not seem to sell anything 22LR anymore.

Re: Building a dedicated 22 upper

Considering a 22LR barrel is typically 1:16 twist I would go with the 1:9. Depending on what kind of accuracy you are looking for though you might find yourself having to buy a dedicated 22LR barrel.
