Re: Club entrance's

Beaverbrook started using prox cards a year and a half ago. Though I think it's just for the front gate so far. Works good, I even ran mine through the washing machine and dryer once by accident and it still works.

Re: Oakdale Gun Club - Thoughts?

Some of the older members can be grouchy at times, but they mean well. Ha. This made me laugh. Sad truth is that this is a common issue at pretty much every gun range I’ve visited. The old codgers scare away new blood. Someday we’ll be those old codgers. Lol. This is true of the radio control club ...

Re: Looking for a good AR trigger

Like everyone else I love the MBT but if one was looking for a drop in cheaper option hard to go wrong with a factory polished millspec like the Palmetto EPT combined with JP reduced power springs.

Re: Building a dedicated 22 upper

BC98 wrote:TACCOM is a pretty good source for reasonable dedicated barrels and they include the rimfire collar that replaces the cartridge adapter.

TACCOM does not seem to sell anything 22LR anymore.

Re: Building a dedicated 22 upper

Considering a 22LR barrel is typically 1:16 twist I would go with the 1:9. Depending on what kind of accuracy you are looking for though you might find yourself having to buy a dedicated 22LR barrel.

Re: What magazines are you using for 300blk?

I just use standard PMAG Gen3 10rd and 20rd. Never had an issue with subs but I rarely shoot them and mostly use 150gr or less.

Re: Fire at Forest Lake Gun Range

Doubt we will hear a reason till the fire marshal gives the official one. No point in speculating.

Couldn't you just shove in some wads to fill the space like a shotgun shell? :-)

Why you gotta try and be smart like that?

Re: Is .357 Magnum the most versatile modern caliber?

You still would not load it anywhere near .460. I was more so thinking could any powder safely fill the case and not go kaboom? A 460 is built to withstand higher pressures then a 410 revolver. So most powders would be out of the question as the loads that would keep the pressure low enough would l...

Re: Suggestions for parts - 308 AR build

I have the PSA standard trigger and the unidentified trigger out of my Bushmaster (to be replaced by the MBT) to Play with. I have one of the PSA polished triggers. Just put it in a lower using the 50 cent set screw trigger job mod. Combined with JP springs and I have a 3.25lb pull with no creep fo...
