Re: DOJ, ATF Repeal FFL Inspection Policy…

Rip Van Winkle wrote:More proof of Trump's anti-gun agenda. :rotf:

Nothing from Ranb since late February. Do you think maybe he really was a Democratic plant trying to convince gun owners not to vote Trump?

Re: Second Saturday Breakfast - 12 April

Will be there. Although I've got to say, have my taste buds died from old age or is their food not as good as it used to be?

Re: Guns At Buyback Ends Up Back On Streets In 16-Year-Old Hands

I could well imagine that the police, who actually know a thing or two about firearms and their use in crimes, are extremely dubious about buybacks but have to go along with them.

Re: House Judiciary Advances Concealed Carry Reciprocity

Three concerns: First, wouldn't some states argue that other state's permits use inapplicably different qualifications than in their states? Second, could the anti states respond by passing so many restrictions on where carry is allowed that an out of state permit would be virtually useless? And las...

Re: March 29th Capital Rally to Defend the 2A

I hope to make it but can't be sure. I wasn't well enough to attend the Feb. 26 Pro-Gun hearings; or the range open house on March 3.

Re: Supreme Court Rules on Biden's 'Ghost Gun' Ban

In the long run though, there will be a post-Trump country in which we can't count on a gun-friendly White House.

Re: Are there any local restaurants where the servers open carry

Kind of hard for a server to reach for a gun when their hands are full.

Was the vote on HF 13 pure party line?

It's late, I'm tired and I'm not finding a breakdown by party; would someone tabulate this for me please?

Online gun markets— buy, sell, trade?

It's been awhile since I've heard much about them. They were brutally persecuted by the antis and a number of them either went offline or had to severely restrict their activities. What's the status quo these days?

Re: Passports Taken but No Charges after Two Years for Australia

While I'm sympathetic to the defendants, state nullification has been dead since the Civil War. Texas can claim all they want that interstate commerce doesn't apply here, but if the federal government disagrees they're going to arrest you just the same. See you in court*. *unless as said upthread, t...

Re: Review of the Semi-Auto Ban by William Kirk

"no man has any individual rights, which come into conflict with the welfare of the country"

How Confederate Senator Louis Wigfall justified a military draft in the "freedom loving" Confederacy.

This could more or less be the founding motto of today's progressives.

Re: Vehicle interior is a ‘public place’ if driven on public roa

Again, that's *not* what the court said. Agreed. The court decision is in line with previous statutes and rulings that while there is some protection of privacy for the interior of a vehicle, it's not absolute. This more or less aligns with the dual private/public nature of a vehicle on public road...
