Re: Gang Members Accused of Murdering SF Bay Area Toddler Jasper

What I read between the lines is "too many people will protest if we seek full charges against black suspects".

Re: Third Circuit Declares Federal Gun Law Unconstitutional Over

Despite the letter of the Second Amendment, the declared intent of those who drafted and ratified it in their own words, and the long history supporting it as a fundamental right, the sad fact is that the twentieth century saw the Second Amendment incrementally being nearly interpreted out of existe...

Re: Minnesota cannabis users not allowed gun ownership federally

Do federal agents have the authority to publicly stop and detain people on probable cause? If that guy in the lane next to you at the stop light is a fed, could he pull you over if he sees you smoking a joint?

Re: Minnesota cannabis users not allowed gun ownership federally

Other than trafficking or possibly large growing operations, aren't the feds 100% dependent on state and local law enforcement to actually catch marijuana users and forward the cases to federal jurisdiction? I can't imagine the FBI or DEA having the resources to police simple use around the country.

Yep, we're so much safer now that we've banned those auto-assault weapons. :x

Re: Poll: Curbing gun violence is more import than gun rights

Seriously Markemp or whoever you really are, why are you even on this board? At this point you've gone far beyond anything that could reasonably be called a "debate" and are simply trolling for a position that's antithetical to the purpose of this board. Yes there are antis who think gun c...

Re: Walz signs ‘red flag’ orders, universal background checks

Was there any attempt to negotiate sunset clauses for the gun bills? So for example if the Red Flag law turns out to be grossly abused it could have been allowed to die and not be renewed? The "one-way-ratchet" effect of laws being next to unrepealable is what irks the libertarian in me.

Form letters to legislators from MNGOC, GOA and NRA

If you've signed up to receive requests to add your name to these petitions, do take the time to customize them in your own words; even if only to precede the form letter with a disclaimer like "The following message from GOA has my full endorsement, YourName, voting district". I wouldn't ...

Re: Atomic Tactical Raided by the ATF

If your customers can find you, the authorities can find you. Drug dealers have known that forever, which is why the bigger players employ lots of expendable intermediaries. Also, street scum have big mouths and no loyalty.

Re: Red State support for "Assault Weapons" bans?

I keep thinking there must be few harder positions to be stuck in than being a woman who believes in the Second Amendment and also wants abortion to remain legal and available.

Re: Red State support for "Assault Weapons" bans?

I know it's just a violent fantasy that for a hundred reasons couldn't work in real life, but I can't but think that if only we simply hanged all the people with gang tats, things would immediately improve substantially.
