Interesting bulletin out of the Second Amendment Foundation: https://saf.org/saf-petitions-scotus-for-certiorari-in-delaware-gun-mag-ban-challenges/ SAF and its partners "have petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court for certiorari, asking the court to rule whether an infringement of Second Amendment ...

Re: A gimic that actually works.

Is resonance something unique to very small diameter barrels, or is it a factor for more common calibers?

Re: Removing primer crimp

Whenever you throw away something you have not needed in twenty years, you will then need it 3-6 months later.

Re: MASs Switchblade Ban Overturned on Second Amendment Grounds

It's a start, but a wide variety of sharp and pointy things remain banned in Massachusetts. While referencing the Bruen decision, the main argument was that there was no functional difference from a standard knife justifying a ban on spring-loaded knives as "dangerous and unusual". My pred...

Mighty quiet lately

Not many posts; everyone gone on vacation?

Coming up on first Wednesday lunch in five days. My brother will be joining us this time! He looks a lot like Frank, which you'll see if you're there.

Re: District Court ruling on machine guns.

Which is one of many reasons why originalist justices are under attack, and there are calls to completely revamp the SC if necessary to return it to what the progressives insist it "ought" to be.

Re: Pistol grip options

If anyone wanted to have a go at reducing the current grips in size, I'd pay fair rate for the work. Myself, I know I don't have the experience not to mess it up.

Re: District Court ruling on machine guns.

States still want to ban "assault weapons"; of course any ruling that automatic firearms cannot be banned will be appealed all the way to the SCOTUS.

Wanted to buy: .40 S&W

Anyone have any .40 sitting around that they'd like to sell? Somehow mine all got used up when I wasn't looking; I thought I'd ask here first before ordering any.

Pistol grip options

Having recently renewed my carry permit, I was surprised to discover in class that my hands are really a little too small for a proper grip on my handgun, at least with their factory grips. Before I get serious about carrying routinely and taking self-defense courses I'd really like to address this ...

"I've been fighting this for years, and we've never given up a thing, " "But in contrast I will always defend your constitutional right to protect yourself" <COUGH> bump stocks <COUGH> Not that Harris wouldn't be far, far worse of course. And not even that bump stocks...

Every "Never Trump" withheld vote gives Harris another 1-vote lead.

Are you willing to refuse to vote for him against Harris as a protest?

And anyway, who in the Republican party actually has a confirmed record of real support for gun rights? Comparatively few I presume.
