Re: MN Gun Owners Caucus: The 2025 Legislative Session starts to

Now will we see some actual pro-gun legislation, or the usual passive neglect out of the Republicans?

Re: Two truckers file lawsuit to carry guns across state lines

Thank goodness we're safe for at least another four years from the Dems stacking the Supreme Court; the antis have pretty much said that Heller, McDonald and Bruen are to be overturned as soon as they can get their justices on the bench.

Re: Abolish the ATF

Realistically there would have to be a Section Three reassigning or abolishing the federal laws the BATFE currently enforces, as mentioned upthread. But yeah I don't see why the IRS or Treasury can't handle the tax collection parts and the FBI the law enforcement parts; both agencies have their flaw...

Re: Pistol grip options

You could go to Menards/ Home Depot in the cabinets there are different types of wood used for refacing cabinet fronts. Buy something larger then your grip panels then use you grip for a template. Shape to your liking. I wish I could; but you know the arts & crafts project your seven-year old b...

Re: Trump promised to sign national reciprocity

Why do so many people here want a president that curries favor with the anti-gun crowd? We've been over this ad nauseum : Trump was the least-lousy option we realistically had. Hopefully the next four years will see us maintain/ expand pro-2nd Supreme Court judges, which has done more for gun right...

Re: Pistol grip options

Reposted because after a long spell of the doldrums I'm finally trying to get moving on this again. Could I just take the grips off altogether and make do with duct tape?

Re: Trump promised to sign national reciprocity

Trump doesn't care about guns one way or another. He signed off on the bump stock ban when someone advised him that it was a comparatively cheap sop to the anti-gunners (which is still a long way from Trump being such a "gun grabber" that we were advised to boycott the Republicans in 2024)...

Re: MN law banning binary triggers to take effect

Would anyone bother with binary triggers or bump stocks or trigger cranks if the Hayes Amendment were to be repealed and we could just buy full-auto firearms; even with all the NFA requirements? THAT I would be the test case for. If the law is repealed why would you need to be a test case? I meant ...

Re: Trump promised to sign national reciprocity

Fine as far as it goes but how likely is a national reciprocity bill? I can see all the anti-carry states insisting that out of state permits won't meet their standards. Driver's licenses are uniform because of federal highway requirements which the states hew to or lose funding; I don't see anythin...

Re: Hicock45 Talks About Leaving The NRA

Simply because the NRA has such name recognition in the halls of Congress, I bought a lifetime membership when they were being discounted just to crank up their membership number by one, and so I could say that I've donated as much money to them as I'm going to.

Re: Several candidates line up for special elections for Minneso

Any chance of an anti-Democrat alliance settling on a best candidate and unifying the opposition?
