Republican would-be Presidents court NRA

Of course the problem is, just because a candidate appeals to a given person or group of people doesn't mean they can win the general electorate. The country as a whole is becoming more liberal wether we like it or not and candidates who want to win will have to strategies along those lines. Sent fr...

Phobias other than guns?

I have sat for many hours of tattooing with no issue, but I have fear of the dentist. I also have a rather strong aversion to stinging insects. The solution to wasps is easy, just let them land on you, hold them at the top of the thorax between your thumb and fore finger so they can't sting, then b...

Salesman named Chad at Alexandria Wally World

I wonder if one would be asked the same question buying 410 ammo since it can be shot from a judge.

Re: What Kind of Rounds are These?

No packaging, just 6 loose rounds. I talked to a young guy at Scheels who said he thought they were for cowboy action shooting, though I'm not sure how well wadcutters would feed in a tube magazine. The guy at gander mt. straight up said he had no idea (I applauded him for his honesty).

What Kind of Rounds are These?

So I got these 30-30 rounds at the Mankato gun show thinking they were wadcutters, I showed them to my dad and he said they were blanks, I then showed them to a man at the Wells gun show who said they were flares made in the 70s and 80s. Needless to say I am slightly confused so any light that could...

.22 Ammo in Mankato

Gander mt. in Mankato has some .22lr (50 and 100 round boxes), .22 short, and .22wmr (tmj and hp) in stock. I paced myself and only got 2 boxes of .22wmr but if anyone around Mankato is looking it's there, for now ;) .

Scroll down to the "Where to find scrap lead" section. Best I could come up with on short notice.

Re: How long is your Carry permit renewal taking?

The number of permits to carry in the state has more than doubled in the past year. I'd assume that what has likely happened is they got swamped with requests and your renewal got bogged down in the mess. My best advice is to go to the sheriff's office and inquire about the state of your application...
