Re: Night vision/thermal in Minnesota

At $2300, I think I may stick with the Nikon until I can prove to myself that I will hunt enough to justify the expense. It is very high on the cool scale. Look through someone’s thermal or NV and you will change your mind and get one. I like thermal over NV but everyone is different. I stretched g...

Thermal for scope. I have Flir.

Which one? I just pulled my ad for my PTS233 now that we can use these. Deciding on which rifle it goes on, 300 BO with suppressor or Grendel.

Re: Concealed carry choices

When I carry, I carry a Glock 27. Used to carry a SA sub compact but was a bit thick. Got a deal on the glock. Never cared for glock but it shoots great.

Re: RPR now in 300WM & 338LM

Just looked at your photo. Was thinking it was the big rifle Barrett makes. Checked out a few you tube vids. That’s sweet. Thanks for the heads up on blems. Will check it out. Just learned about the XTRIII a couple weeks ago. Good reviews on AR15.com so far. Am wanting the Burris 1-8 but hasn’t drop...

Re: In the gun rights fight, don’t be a McNutt

Hope his fellow gun enthusiasts visit his home to get his attention on how dumb that was. What a moron.

Re: Has anyone read the opinion tossing CA's mag ban?

That judge deserves a raise. To bad we don’t have more judges like him.

Re: RPR now in 300WM & 338LM

Wow, you stole that. Got a pic you can post? Hell yeah, let’s get together to cross shoot. Think you will be impressed with the RPR. How much does it weigh? Have looked at the MRAD system Barrett has. Expensive sucker but don’t think I’ve read anyone complaining except the cheap parts Barrett used. ...

Re: RPR now in 300WM & 338LM

Curious what you paid for it. Have always wanted a Barrett but the price was to much. I had to downgrade from a 50 BMG. 338LM has always had my eye so jumped on a savage for a good price. Light but recoil was stout. When the RPR came out, figured Ruger did it right so sold off the savage to get the ...

Re: Large bore suppressor

Just found out Deadair is making a 338LM suppressor. I emailed them about it and they confirmed it. Was about to look at another one but will wait. No timeline on it though. I also asked if it would be direct thread or use their adapter. Said they cannot comment on that at this time. Just a FYI

Re: RPR now in 300WM & 338LM

I don’t do FB but chat about it on AR15.com. The folding mechanism on mine is real stiff. Not worried about unlocking while shooting. The weight of the RPR really helps with recoil. Was out last week doing load development trying to narrow down what I want. Had it up to 2850 fps with slight case swi...

Re: Brownells Launches BRN-134D Semi-Auto Minigun ~ VIDEO

Surprised he kept a straight face while showing it. Would be funny to take it to one of the committee meetings on gun control at the capital to ask them if this would be a good alternative to an AR. :D
